make your own PSDs..your own website...with all types of flyers

!! it make them dope as hell...make it so u have to buy it to use it but make the download option free

then trace the downloads and find niccas usin it for free and go aroud suin niccas = $$

these club promoters dont give a !! about an "original" flyer..they just want something that looks good..they are garbage after the night is over anyway.

That's funny cause those joints look like they're from Graphic River. So dude is probably downloading them off a random warez site and selling them for $10 [pic]

It is what it is, I can't be mad. I've occasionally purchased flyer .PSDs from Graphic River to get a job done. Either:

- Client is a headache, confusing the hell out of me and doesn't know what they want.
- Client needs an extreme rush turnaround (under 12 hours) and our schedules conflict.

Everyone has a hustle. What I don't understand is (assuming he made these .PSDs himself) most graphic designers sell flyers for $50-$150+ and those are just the final .JPEGs... why would you sell the EDITING FILE for a fraction of that price?

Do flyers like these work? I get this !! all the time... so people actually attend an event purely based off the flyer? I get these !!s and I'm like !! that...

It also gets me thinking, how much does it cost to print out these flyers on those slippery HD postcards?

These sites like Graphic River etc. will never effect the design community. There are way too many people out there that know better than to buy a gay template that anyone can have. I've never had a client that would accept a template design. My clientelle come to me for originality.

Flyers are a waste of time if youre trying to be an amazing original artist, as they are temporary garbage.

However if your client ordering a flyer doesn't want something original, they're probably hood & cheap & not worth your time.

100% agreed, most club flyers are all the same anyways so they might as well be templates. insert pretty model, cliche champagne/liquor bottle, add over the top gradient text and POOF....done-zo.

then throw your logo on someone else work ? ...c'mon , why not create your own template to use when ur lazy

This person made a good business decision/idea. This is the same as pre-made logos you can buy that are generic and you put your business name on them after you buy the psd+rights.

It's the same concept as website templates, you can argue that as well. People who made templates !!ed up the game for people who design+code+program.

well when you got a real job..music videos..photography..and mixtape covers and flyers..

who gives a !!..if they happy and like it..then who cares..i even told one of my clients send me as many flyers as you want cuz i got templates on deck that we can re use all the time and hes super geeked about it..cuz once again

its a stupid flyer..no one cares about the artwork except the dumbass graphic designer spending 2 hours on it for people to use it to sniff coke on and throw it in a trash can.

and if not..they are probably looking at the girl that you had no permission or rights to put on that flyer..or most likely stocks that you found on google that arent yours..

a 3 hour flyer..is 3 hours wasted for no reason

a mixtape/album cover is personal.. a flyer is just business

In closing, The site won't effect the design community whatsoever because high paying clients don't want a bought templated design. So the templates are more or less for amateur designers (no offense what so ever) - most designers who got the game down make their own basic template for each client/venue that they've branded for the particular venue and can bang out a flyer in an hour that looks nothing like the last but has the same general setup. Hence my flyers.

If ya'll were smart you would make your own templates and put them up for sale on these sites.

$10 flyer template on sale on a site that gets popular and gets 100k downloads worldwide = $$$$

This only opens up doors for designers. Things change you have to move with the times.

Kinda off Photoshop topic:

I stopped coding along time ago! What's the point when you can get a awesome looking WordPress theme for $50 then turnaround and charge the client anywhere from $1500 - $3500 for theme customization? Your time is cut in 1/2 instantly by buying a pre-made theme.

You also gotta look at some of sales on Themeforest - some of those themes have 6,000 purchases at $50 a pop that's $300,000 in earnings off one little theme.
