WTF: No fun after finishing the Fallout 3 main quest?

Whats up with not bein able to go around and do sh*t after the main questline in fallout 3? i mean im still getting the game, but why is there a definitive ending?

i dont know, i havent beaten it yet, there are way to many games leaking to be playing them all lol i just finished gow 2 and dead space will be next, but yeah ive read the same thing before i guess you should just save your game before doing the "Take it Back" quest or whatever it was called

I never played fallout before so i don't think i will play this one either

Hmm, I would read up on it. There are supposedly 500 different endings. Maybe one of the definitive ones won't let you go back. Doesn't really hurt the game in my opinion, because I usually try to do everything before that point. This just might mean you have to play through again, which isn't a bad thing beacuse you can completely switch up your style.
