Wii U Region Lock Confirmed

Following the localization issues that sprang up with numerous Wii titles near the end of its lifespan, many people have wondered if the Wii U would be region locked. Well unfortunately for some, we finally have that answer.

CVG has confirmed that the Wii U will be region-locked, meaning if you own a console from one region, you won't be able to play another region's game.

This decision by Nintendo to region-lock its upcoming console could be trouble if localization issues resurface later into the upcoming next-generation.

Just have it region free. Less hacking.
