Also, I don't ever remember Nintendo denying this from their first announcement. They specifically said that the controller is designed to work with the console, not as a separate device. People want to point stuff out now that Nintendo told us over a year ago and say it's going to make it worse... Last edited by IGOTSHITTZ; 09-17-2012 at 02:11 PM..

i'd be kind of upset if I purchased a Wii and tried to walk away from teh TV the system was on because someone else in the house wanted to use the TV and I find out that I couldn't go that far with it...i'd actually be pissed

| Every TV in my House has a cable box. Hell I even put one in the kitchen so my wife can watch it while she is cooking and washing dishes LOL [pic]. Why would you need more than 24 feet? | |

some people have long houses like ranch style system is on room and the other end of the house could be more than 24 ft away...some people have odd shaped houses (Like my house in Chicago), some people Ballin out of control and have big houses...some people don't really have big houses just a couple floors and their mancave is in the basement but their bedroom is on the third floor (Like my house in Colorado is) and it's more than 24 feet from the man cave to the third floor where the bedroom is...so I wouldn't be able to go from the MC to the bedroom and continue playing...not to mention the battery would be dead by the time I get to the end of a dungeon in Zelda...

I am talking about the distance from your Tv where you game to your couch or whatever the !! you sit on when you game. You complaining because it does not reach your bathroom [pic] [pic] lol you not the only nicca with more than one crib[pic]

as far as letting someone else use the TV...I dont' have TV's nor cable boxes in every room. I have a TV in the main family room, the game room which was an extra bedroom, and the master bedroom and that's it, cable boxes in those three rooms only in the Chicago house...so If im the game room which also is where the movies (DVD's, Blu Rays) are at (we dont' have stand alone players we use the systems) and my wife wants to watch a movie or something, normally I'll get off the game machine and either watch a movie with her or go do something else...if I had a Wii U and wanted to keep playing I would be able to play pretty much anywhere in the Chicago house... BUT if I was at the Colorado house (Which we rent out since we live in Chicago) only has two tv's and it's a 6 bedroom three bath house...the game systems are downstairs in the man cave...so let's say I wanted to still play a game but wanted to go somewhere else in the house, and converse with my wife while she does her thing, but continue playing... from the systems to the top of the stairs from the basement is more than 24 feet away so I would have to sit on the steps to continue playing... so thats' why I said not everyone is in the same position, I'm trying to put facts out and let people know this before they have a situation like me and purchase a WiiU thinking they can play it anywhere in the house... some people won't be able too that's all

| Kids want to take the thing to the bathroom, out to the backyard when told to mow the lawn, etc. 24 feet is plenty. | |

| it would be funny as hell if this system ended up being the next turbo graphix 16 instead of the next super nintendo. | |
