US retail emporium Best Buy has begun discounting the Wii U 8GB Basic Set presumably because the Deluxe is getting more love from consumers. You can now pick up a 8GB Basic Wii U system with Nintendo Land for $299.99 on the Best Buy website. I’m not sure whether the offer is replicated in stores, so you will need to check.

Thats a decent deal. The game cost $60 by itself. Plus you can get an external HD up to 2TB for it. The while one might be worth it now.

Nah Nintendrones don't try to flip the script this thread about the wiiu. I was at Target today and there was a GANG of Wii U's behind the display glass. Black Deluxe Wii U's at that. Nobody buying that !!.

I bought one. As of right now, i dont see the Wii U as a hardcore gamers system. Its just like the Wii. Its for fun if your a casual gamer, or got old people or kids at your house for a holiday or something. Nintendoland is good if you got kids. Not if your a grown a$$ man.

this is my problem my wife just bought me one because well she knows i play games and this is the next big thing.....

i dont really want to return it and ima get the new xbox and ps4(maybe)

but i hope we get some zelda, eternal darkness , and other games.

its still lots of wiis where i work aswell we keep on em the floor, they def aint sellin like the nintendo wii was when it first launched, wii u only sold out on first day after that they aint sold out since, and they only sold out cause it was like only 30 on shipment, do ppl even know about the wii u, i still thought it was a controller till i played it
