Whats a good Dog-Fighter (Air shooter) game?

Im attempting to find a good dog-fighting game that has a large online user population to get into, any suggestions?

naw, I have BF3, but you can only get a max of 4-8 in the air at one time, limited space to fly around and limited weapons. im trying to get some ace combat type !! popping.

Just saw 2 games in the PSN store last night, one had a demo that just dropped and another is on the playstation plus featured page. I'll update when i figure out the titles.

Ace Combat:[..]ault Horizon (only about a year old, so should have some community left)
Birds of Steel (came out this year, i've heard decent things from people that have played it that enjoy the genre, no clue on the online community)

I think your best bet would be Ace Combat if you're looking for online people.. I would imagine it still has people playing it. It's hard to find an aerial combat game that keeps a heavy player population.

+1 for Birds of Steel. I bought it new for $40. IMO best flying game for consoles this gen. (Not including !! like BF3). It has online co-op and I believe vs. as well. Last time I checked, population was sufficient.
