Sony Wants You To Never Log In To Your PlayStation Again

From a security perspective, passwords are OK, but they're not as good as they could be. Users can log in and then wander away, or configure their PlayStation to automatically log them in, leaving the door open to fraud.
So Sony would like, instead, to do away with log-ins and passwords altogether.
How? With a collection of biometric processes.
Biometrics is essentially the science of scanning your unique features and using them to authenticate your access to systems. Fingerprint and voiceprint readers are two examples of biometric systems.
Sony recently patented a system that combines several forms of biometrics into a system that can verify who you are in multiple ways. The system could scan the geometry of your face, read your fingerprints from the controller, analyze your voice, scan your retinas, or even combine two or more of these methods. Essentially, your login would be your body.
The idea is that instead of tying your profile to a hackable password, instead the system only activates your profile when it can know it's actually you making the request. The patent opens the door for some interesting ideas, although like all patents nothing may come of it. Still, it'd certainly make security breaches such as the 2011 PlayStation Network outage a bit less likely.

PS4 comes with the biometric fingerprint scanner built into the system.That would be some high tech !! man
