Sonic Adventure 2, Nights Into Dreams HD Release Dates

SEGA has revealed release dates for HD remakes of Nights Into Dreams and Sonic Adventure 2. Both games will launch on October 2nd for $9.99 on PlayStation Network and on October 5th for 800 Microsoft Points on Xbox Live Arcade.

Sonic fans will be able to buy Battle Mode downloadable content for an additional $3.00 (240 Microsoft Points). Battle Mode includes maps and characters from Sonic Adventure 2: Battle on Gamecube, including Chao Karate. As a bonus, Nights Into Dreams will also include Christmas Nights, a holiday-themed expansion that was previously only included in a SEGA Saturn holiday bundle in 1996 or through special promotions.

Nights Into Dreams originally hit SEGA Saturn in 1996 and an HD remake was confirmed in July. Sonic Adventure 2, originally released in 2001 for Dreamcast, was confirmed a week later and follows the Sonic Adventure HD remake released in 2010.

Is sonic adventure 2 as good as the first one? The first one was one of my favorite games ever. That !! blew my mind on that gawd console dreamcast.

i still got sonic adventure 2 battle for gamecube so i can play it on the wii. not sure if i'll cop. loved that game though, spent countless hours playing it and raising my chao.

Been waiting for this since they disappointed me with that sega cla#sic shyt and dropped the first one only ... It reminds me of playing it during my 8th grade summer, talking about the shyt my sophomore year cuz i never beat that !![..] lizard, came home that same day and went in on his[..]. That is when i learned a little time is all you need to win some games.
