People give the game too much damn credit. You act like there would not have been a Perfect Dark/GoldenEye (which I would have put on the list) if not for Zelda. Actually it does have alot of RPG elements, its a mixture of Action/Adventure and RPG/Puzzle

i wouldnt rule it out as not being an rpg, it may not be a 100% rpg but it def has alot of RPG elements in it

First off, calm down. How old are you? I'm betting younger than 18 for sure. If not. wow...just...wow. I didnt think anyone could care that much, about what category a video game falls into.

Secondly, did I say there wouldnt be first person shooters if it werent for Zelda? Or did I even call Zelda an RPG? NO! Thats your overly sensitive[..] just poppin off like a child who can't control his excitment. Take a deep breath and control your urge to argue with anything you read that you dont think agrees with you... I said Zelda was the first to pioneer things that are being used in RPGs, Action, and First Shooters today. Zelda was the first game to have the free roaming of a developed world, where you could interact with other charcters, buy/equip items, and explore a fully designed maps, as well have an "epic" feeling to it. (Sound like an RPG?) Or constantly switch up weapons depending on your enviroment, to help you navigate through a large world or k!ll enemies that otherwise would be immpossible. (sounds like qualitys of first person shooter?)

Ive been gaming since the days of atari. I've watched video games develop from the very begining. Believe me, Zelda was without a doubt, the most revolutionary game of it's time. Concepts introduced in that game are still being used today.

Were you ask to me what the pioneer of 1st person shooters is? Well, obivously Wolfenstein. I still remeber gettin the demo of the original and playin the first level over and over again

agreed...i played Halo on PC. It's a decent FPS. There are a lot of FPS games that are way better than this (on PC, not too sure abt the consoles).

exactly same here. think they messed up when they place FF7 as 7th place. it should be at least top 5.

i think the only reason halo is soo popular is because its a multiplayer game,
i dont think most of us care about the storyline and what not, we just wanted to trashtalk and own our friends in the game.

!! i dont even know what halo is about. i still think counter strike is the best shooter around in my opinion.

there isn't a game out there that's even remotely on the same level as Ocarina of Time.
