Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time Getting Price Drop was to “Make it a No-Brainer Purchase”

Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time would be releasing for a reduced cost of $39.99 on PlayStation 3 and $29.99 on PlayStation Vita. This new price did have quite a few people wondering what the reasoning behind this drop could be, leading Cristian Cardona,[..]ociate Product Marketing Manager of Software Marketing at SCEA, to clear them up.

the price drop was made so that they could attract as many potential buyers as possible, with the quality of Thieves in Time staying at the level you would expect if it were priced at $60.

There will be only 1 trophy list for both versions – no doubles.
You can’t use the PlayStation Vita as a replacement for the DualShock 3 on your PS3 copy
There won’t be a special edition

Already a no-brainer. Been waiting for this. Bout to finish Sly 2 and 3 in the next two weeks.

We would expect no less from you Jizzo. I'd rather buy $39.99 worth of STDs than put that mutha!!in game in my system.

What people are complaining about the price still?? It's two games for $40 wtf?? Y'all niccas will pay $60 for Call of Duty fourteen where it's the same freaking game with new map smh.

Sly Cooper is too "kiddy" for them.
