They made the whole game on PS3, but adding DLC is "impossible" now because of the PS3's architecture [pic]

Oblivion, Fallout 3, Fallout New Vegas all had multiple DLC packages. I'm not saying the PS3 isn't harder to dev for, but it really seems like they made their money and don't care to make this happen anymore point blank.

all I can say is, I just started a new game and made a thief/a#sa#sin/pretty much im batman/se# machine and im back playing this game in full effect. havent put it down in days and cant wait for tuesday.

Fallout 3 and new vegas played like !! on ps3. The freezing and slowdown issues arent really news for anybody who bought them. Specifically the "game of the year" edition of fallout was a wreck. Bethesda was well aware of these issues, but they got your money so they dont give a !!. Will never buy another bethesda product for ps3.

i dont understand though.. if the PS3 is supposed to be way more capable than the 360, why are they having this issue? if they got it working on the 360, it shouldve been on PS3 weeks before Xbox. wtf

i have both consoles by the way so no console war here..

They do not understand how to make something work on it. The whole issue is them nto knowing how to make it work. Even Valve came around about the PS3 and made an amazing game with cross platform connections for it but Bethesda just refuses to do anything about it.

I can not think of another dev who has had this type of issue with making games yet still gets praised left and right for the games they make. I absolutelly loved Fallout 3 but it was my first Bethesda game, and yes it was broken as !!. Everything and I mean everything they have put out or been[..]ociated with since then has been !!ed up in one way or another and not just on PS3 this is across all platforms. Why in the !! to people keep giving them money ?

When a games get a patch which I understand does need to happen for numerous reasons,
but should it ever be something like this ? At what point do you say that the game might not have been complete if you need to do this much work post launch.

Fallout New Vegas Patch History (I only quoted 1 patches out of 7 for the PS3, you can go here to see full notes for all consoles and PC they would not fit in a single post on boxden due to character limit )

Patch 1.01 is stated to fix around 300+ quest and script errors/bugs as follows. According to Senior Producer Jason Bergman, Bethesda didn't provide a list of included fixes and changes because a complete change list would be the size of a novel.
Vault 11 XP Glitch - Fixed
Helios One XP Glitch - Fixed
Various Weapons DAM Decreased

Fix 1 - After implementing the patch, the Abandoned BoS Bunker becomes locked, requiring you to use a non-existent key in order to open it. This prevents you from obtaining the skill book Dean's Electronics located inside. The only workaround is to remove the patch, get the book and then reinstall the patch.

[pic] 6 years into the console life they can't release DLC. Patches that get released that fix one problem but create another on both systems.

!! you. I haven't run into many bugs at all. Not bugs that would make or break the game, anyway. Mainly just graphical hiccups that aren't really serious. Hella games have bugs. Just something you have to learn to deal with as games become more and more complicated. Your experience does not equal everyone else's. I'll continue to enjoy my Bethesda games. In the meantime, you can !! off and go cry to someone who cares.
