Ryu Hayabusa, Raiden, Sackboy, New Rivalry & Box Art Leak For PS All-Stars!

For starters, the game’s official box art has been leaked. It looks pretty neat, for the most part. It showcases several characters duking it out against each other. Check the image out below. However, what is more important is the little community banner to the left of the box art image. This confirms appearances of Nariko and Ratchet, as seen in the far left in between PaRappa and Sweet Tooth (Nariko) and to the left of Colonel Radec (Ratchet). However, there are some mysterious figures that are hard to make out as well. For starters, a character to the left of Ratchet which bears a strong resemblance to Jin from the Tekken franchise. I surely hope this isn’t the case, as we do not need two Tekken characters in this title. Also, in the far right, alongside Cole (in his old gear, confusingly) we see a character with a scythe. I am led to believe that this may be Ryu Hayabusa from the Ninja Gaiden series, which would make for a pretty neat surprise if this is true! Check the image out below to try and make out any other characters you may see.

Along with these character and box leaks, we have what looks like another confirmed rivalry. This is a pretty exciting one too – Raiden vs Cole MacGrath. As seen in another image pulled from the site, there seems to be a section on the site dedicated to ‘ultimate mash ups’ and leading the banner is an image of Cole and Raiden striking each other. This could be nothing more than a way for players to create their ideal mash up or a neat little rivalry. It also confirms the validity behind the recent character leak that includes Raiden. Check out the sweet image below.

Yet another PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale leak has occurred, this time revealing LittleBigPlanet mascot Sackboy and Metal Gear Solid cyborg ninja Raiden as playable characters.
This leak comes straight from Sony's official PSASBR website, which updated its page overnight with pre-order images that appeared to confirm a host of new characters. These images were removed but not before eagle-eyed users on the PSASBR forum grabbed them and shoved them online.

Raiden and Cole face off in the ULTIMATE MATCH-UP. Looks like they're dancing hand in hand to us.
The appearance of Sackboy and Raiden come as no surprise. Both characters were revealed in a sweeping leak last month that outed Devil May Cry's Dante and Evil Cole MacGrath from inFamous.
Meanwhile, a poster image for the game, which also appeared on the official website, contains silhouettes that suggest other playable characters.
NeoGAF user Ryce reckons the images match up to well-known pictures of Kazuya and Jin from the Tekken series (Heihachi is a confirmed playable character), and Ryu Hayabusa from Tecmo Koei's Ninja Gaiden series.
Fans have also spotted Ratchet & Clank and Nariko from Heavenly Sword, who appeared in July's leaked roster.

ryu has been in more xbox !! though. doa 3 and 4 were xbox exclusive as was ninja gaiden for a while so that dont make too much sense. and theres too many tekken characters already. they could have the best gameplay in the world but if they dont got beloved characters like spyro, crash, cloud etc that are nearly synonymous with sony, then they wont sell as much. theres nothing worse than loving a game that nobody is playing (shout-out to vf5fs)

Edit: on second thought the tekken characters cant be playable as i remember they saying 1 character per ip. I heard there are story mode characters in this so they may appear there.

DOA 1,2 and NG Sigma series were on PS platforms though. So they're more like timed exclusives if anything.

niccas dont hate this game because it plays like Smash Brothers everybody in the gaming industry bites off other games. They hate this game because its on the PS3. niccas in here !!ted on this game without even giving it a chance I cant think of another game that got hated so much so fast.

EVERY Call of Duty get's !!ted on before it gets played... BUlletstorm got !!ted on without being played...you don't pay much attention in here

So you wont give this game a chance? What if its better than Smash Bros? I never considered you anything no fanboy no nothing but I do know you hate the attitude of PC gamers.

I said i'll play the beta if I ge a code and check it out...b ut based on what i've seen of it it's a complete rip off...I will decide for myself though, just need a beta code or i'll GF the retail if it comes out before I get a code to play
