RUMOR: Halo 4 is Coming to the PC

PC gamers might just see their first Halo title since Halo 2's release back in 2007. An advertisement on Microsoft's webpage for Windows 8 shows Halo 4's Master Chief on a laptop screen, seemingly implying that you'll be able to take part in this new 3 part journey soon.

This could just be a way for Microsoft to advertise their Xbox on PC functionality that Windows 8 has touted for quite some time, but because that doesn't actually let you play retail games, it doesn't seem very plausible. For now, just treat this as a rumor folks.

Halo 4 drops on November 6, 2012 on the Xbox 360.

Hopefully it's true, I'd love to play this on my new laptop.

Im highly doubting I buy Halo 4 as of right now, but if this were in some way true then im definitely down

Pc users would honestly be able to !! on most of the pro's mouse and keyboard is just crazy in comparison.

It's a rumor. Yeah, i realize the ads part, but you can play[..]assin's creed on a tv. You cannot play Halo 4 on a laptop. It specifically advertises hardcore games for hardcore gamers. Halo 4 is their hardcore game this season, and seeing as how they've released previous Halo games on teh PC, this isn't a far fetch.

It would lose its console exclusivity, but that's not the first time that's happened. Cross play would not happen though, PC users would[..] 360 users just like in shadowrun.

Rumor? Based on what the fact that people are idiots? So you mean to tell me they skipped putting Halo 3, ODST, Reach, and Wars (Which could of been huge) on the PC but their going to put Halo 4 on it due to the fact that one of their laptop advertisements has Halo 4 in it. [pic] Some of yah !!s. I can see why it's not far fetch to some of you guys, your idiots that's why. Also hooking up an Xbox 360 to a laptop is possible. Dumb as !! but doable.

I remember playing Q3A on the Dreamcast, and getting my[..] handed too me by pc gamers.

buying a mouse and keyboard evened the playing field though.

Halo 2 didn't come out for pc until three years after its initial launch.

Good comparison... Although Jesszman swears up and down Playstation All-Stars, etc. is exclusive. [pic]

Would be a brilliant move for Microsoft to release it on PC.
