Rockstar Reportedly Working on Five Separate Projects

According to web analyst Michael Patcher from Wedbush 5 different Rockstar Studios are currently working on their own discrete projects.

We get this info from Michael Patcher who released this great piece of info to investors recapping his experience of this years E3. Patcher reportedly said that at least one of these Rockstar projects would have a certain launch by March 2013 which is the end of Take Two’s Fiscal year.

Patcher believes that the game due this fiscal year will be none other than the recently announced Grand Theft Auto V, he also said that a pre-holiday release is less likely however he said retailers would likely be told of the game’s launch 3-4 month is advance which suggests a GTA release date reveal is almost certain by November.

Why even believe him in the first place? You lost for buying into it. Dates are always tentative until made official, and even then sometimes it gets pushed back. Look at Splinter Cell. That !! got delayed like 2 or 3 weeks before it was scheduled to come out. Anything Pachter says is always to be taken with a grain of salt, just like any non-official piece of information.

Any anyway, it's not so farfetch'd to believe R* has 5 titles in development. You know how many games they have coming out each year? They're not like a Naughty Dog, Santa Monica, or a Quantic Dreams (just thinking of companies and these are the only ones that came to mind) where they usually only have 1 focus.
