If it was closer to 2 thousand they would have said two thousand bro...

What the phrase "1500 or higher" means is if you fire the janitor on the fifth floor you don't have to let the Board/share holders know about it...only when you fire at least 1500 do you have too...

If you fired 5,889 people it would be reported as 6 thousand people fired... so they could have fired 1470 and reported as 1500... but they wouldn't count 1500 as 2000...

Sony - I have a lot of your products but I am far from a fanboy.

Your !! is good for a year or two then craps out for the most part...

Sony's always been good for it's presentation/look and it's high prices.

But yeah, with the tech. industry the way it is today, it only makes sense that Sony has to be bought out by the big boys today.
