Portable Super Nintendo, what you think?

This Portable Super Nintendo is Way Too Yellow | Complex

Our favorite portable Super Nintendo will always be Hyperkin's Supaboy, but this one's pretty awesome too. Redditor robotairz posted these images (and more) a few days ago, writing that he's looking to sell the thing (if he hasn't already).

It runs on rechargeable batteries with a charger built in, though it can simply be plugged into the wall as well. All things considered, robotairz wrote that it cost $425 to build. We're guessing that doesn't include time spent, though.

Now if only it wasn't yellow.

I completely forgot about the Open Pandora.... God I totally wanted one of those a few years back but that thing cost a !! load of money... it was like $400 man [pic]

and by the last time I checked, it still didn't emulate the Nintendo 64 significantly better than the PSP could... I last checked like a year ago though, hopefully its changed by now. Imagine Conker's Bad Fur Day, WWF No Mercy on a portable? !! yeah!

Once I've saved up enough and if I know it can finally play N64 damn near perfectly, I'll buy it... Plus its also like a mini-PC too so it will be useful that way also...

There's easier and cheaper ways to play snes, but he gets props for building that.

I just use my iphone, and at home my wii. Switch saves back and forth so I can pick up and go from where I left off.

If nintendo wants to bank again like crazy. they need to release a system that can play all the cla#sic NES,SNES,and N64 titles. also something that can play Nintendo DS games on the big screen would be good as well...

Emulators are far from perfect and usually drop frames or have distorted sound, but this is still way overpriced. I would just cop a normal SNES.
