PlayStation Plus Makes Its Way to the Vita This November

PlayStation Plus is finally making its debut on the PlayStation Vita, although you'll have to wait just a little bit longer. Announced at TGS 2012 just a few moments ago, PS+ on the Vita will be available this November. This means for only $17.99 for 3 months, or $49.99 for a year, you're entitled to PlayStation Plus and all of the perks that it offers on both the PS3 and Vita.

PlayStation Plus on the Vita brings along its own Instant Game Collection, discounts, cloud saves, Automatic Updates, and Trophy Syncing just like the PS3 version.

We already clearly know PS+ is coming to Vita as you've beaten it into the ground already in numerous posts & threads you've created. Is it so hard to not be a !! for just one day?

New information that was just revealed an hour ago. Before, we didn't know when or what it would include and how pricing would work.

Sony never addressed the price. They also kept referring to the services separately.

Anyway, I'm happy. Just wondering what this Instant Game Collection will have and how cloud saves will work - if at all - between the Vita and PS3.

How are they separate? You sign onto you master ID with 1 PS+ that covers it on both systems, nowhere did it elude to you having to purchase ps+ AGAIN to use on vita.

Anything's possible until they tell us ourselves. We still can't play all the PS1 games on the Vita even though i can flip on a PSP and play them. or go through remote play, or just play em on my ps3.

Excellent news but it makes me hesitant to go to the store and buy anything for the system other than what I already own.

I refuse to make the mistake of buying a vita game only for it to be part of the new instant collection from plus. Guess Ill just play Uncharted and a few other games until November

No. Im not buying anything. If they will be giving away older games come November then I will play those and the "new" games will work their way into the old game category and be on there soon enough.

Yea, and if they are actually good games you would have bought them without waiting 2 years which means you've most likely already played 80% of what they are offering.

The value in plus comes from the discounts they give out on games, not the same 8 rentals they've featured this entire summer.

I realize that, but not every game on the marketplace. Your man said he's not gonna purchase anything in "hopes" that it will be free "one day". [pic]

Lets consider that I have owned this system for less than 24 hours and have 9 games here 3 of which were big titles when they launched (Uncharted, resistance and unit 13) so I have stuff to play. I would rather wait to see what is offered with the first wave of the IGC than go out and buy a game over the next few weeks and have it end up being one of the games they offer.

Everything out there regardless of what it is has an impact on a consumers buying behavior so why would this be any different ? Amazon had a huge impact on my buying behavior when I fully switched to an online consumer, sales all have a huge impact on how and when I buy things and PS+ is no different.

I dont need to be the first to play a game just for bragging rights or to say I have played it. I have time and patience so why not wait and have as many opportunities presented to me as possible before I spend that money.
