If you meant sony version of brawl, then no. that's not what it is.

Play both games and tell me it is. [pic] that's like saying Black is a ripoff of COD or Battlefield based on the fact that they both feature guns. Or any war-focused shooter is a ripoff of another because of similarities in the way they look. You can't simply judge a game by the looks, you have to play it too. Trust me, I thought this was a ripoff and it looked boring. The beta changed my mind about the game, i'm back to full hype and ready to cop it day one.

Dude I have over a decade experience playing super smash bros to smash bros brawl. I !!ing know Smash bros IN AND OUT!

I played Melee the day I got it(a month after release) all the way until brawl came out which was about 6-7 years later.

THIS GAME PLAYS NOTHING LIKE SMASH BROS. I've clocked in HUNDREDS of hours in smash bros I can tell you technical !! like L canceling, wave dashing, ledge tricks and all types of geek !!.

PASBR is not like smash bros. The ONLY similarity is the concept of a mashup of fighters and the way it LOOKS. That's like saying Cauliflower is a knockoff of broccoli.
