PlayStation All-Stars: Battle Royale Beta Commences for Asian PS+ Members

During the Asian, more specifically Hong Kong, PSN update, a surprise item was put in the store; that item is the PlayStation All-Stars: Battle Royale Beta. For the time being, the beta is a PlayStation Plus exclusive for the Asian market. The beta features 6 characters - Radec, Kratos, Parappa, Fat Princess, Sly Cooper, and Sweet Tooth - and will focus on testing out the online multiplayer modes.

It is currently unknown whether other markets will get this beta as well but August does hold an "action-packed" Beta for the US PlayStation Plus users as stated by the PlayStation Blog. There's a good chance that All-Stars is indeed that beta. For the time being, we'll just have to wait.

Glad they're having a beta for this game, it'll give us a chance to check it out before release.

Guess I'll have to get PS+. I'm one of the few that is anticipating this game.

with people actually playing it - hopefully,

they change the system to more like smash bros,

this super attack only knockout sounds too confining .

the people who pkayed this said stopWorrying because it plays like a different game in a good way. Looks is the only similarity.

Yo, i'm reading that too and I don't like the game but this definitely has me interested now. Can't wait to grab the beta next week. Sucks that we can't invite people though [pic]

Am i the only one who finds it stupid that Asia PS+ gets it before us? especially considering fighting games are more popular here? I know the asian culture is big on fighters but it's a bigger "e-sport" here then it is there.

Especially after EVO it just would of made more sense to either roll it out across all countries or at least NA first.

its crazy that everyone that has actually played it so far have nothing but good things to say about it. the only place i see people saying its going to be trash is bx. how many of you have actually played it? exactly 0. im personally still not convinced though tbh.

Playing right now. Kratos sucks, couldn't get any orbs with my hits. Played earlier with Sly and he's definitely looking like my main for the time being.

just use a credit card, it's only $5 for HK PS+
