Notch: Windows 8 could be "very, very bad for indie developers"

I feel like ur only saying this just to be considered the outsider of the group

It was !! due to Microsoft's dumb attempt at "security" and their retarded approach to drivers. Those two issues were the main fixes in Windows 7 and you can see how much better Windows 7 is.

HAHAHA lol.... but on the real it's destined to suck bro the track record...

IronMaiden and Jizzonmen and dissenters and trolls of the highest order! Don't pay them any mind! Win 8 is gonna be a great platform for dev's to make anything on. The desktop side of win 8 is very usable and reminiscent of Win 7 with changes for the better. Loss of a start button isn't that bad when you can type in what you want or place on the start screen. All of my drivers were excepted, even my hacks for my 360. I really don't see why people have an issue with Win 8 or Win 7, I mean XP crashed, Vista was a resource hog and had compatibility issues.

I still run Vista because i think it's a more st@ble OS and i just prefer it over 7.

Have 0 interest in 8.


Never had a problem with compatibility issues and my PC shop was open long before Vista dropped and you know? Have yet to get a customer come in with Vista problems.

I get people in my shop all the time from problems 7 gives them. I just have 0 interest in the OS, i think it's broken and from the sounds of it 8 is worse.

We ended up just reverting back to XP fam. I almost had to spend close to 2 grand to replace everything cause Vista is just !!ty.


Microsoft themselves once had to apologize for Vista, stop it slime, stop trying to be 'cool'. Nobody cares lol

For the record though im going all mac this weekend. Time to go ahead and get the studio right
