Next Call of Duty Planned For 2012: Modern Warfare 4?

I don't think Treyarc is making a new CoD for a while to come after the heat Black Ops got. IW and Sledgehammer will be back at it again. From what I heard, it'll be a game that Sledgehammer was working on before they got pulled onto working on MW3 [pic]

I like MW3, but the half[..]ed copied MW2 elements are undeniable. It really does feel like an MW2 expansion pack the more I play it. I still like the game, but with 2 years to get this game done (rather than 1), IW could've done a lot better.

As long as it's not Black Ops 2 and it's not an old war game, they got my support. And I think MW3 is the last of the series, the TITLE "MW4" alone sounds forced and overdone. It'll probably be a completely new series from IW and Sledgehammer.

Call Of Duty 5 ... seems pretty logical to me

It Isnt goin to be mw4 and I really hope IW has nothing to do with the next cod game.We already know they'll just copy paste mw3, and just add some more unnecessary overpowered !! like in the previous mw games. I wouldnt mind seing a black ops 2 tho [pic].

call of duty, been getting these niccas money for a grip now they some ultimate hustlers

the thing is tho... IW created the engine they are basing all of these games on

we need IW to create a new game engine..

treyarch and sledgehammer just do maps and build basically new "mods" onto the engine that infinity ward developed... so IW is more of a key player here and that's why it's important to remember that key heads of infinity ward left the company

if we have enough talent left over at IW to make a new game engine we probably need new hardware to show if off anyway so next years release will probably be black ops 2 on the same engine again...


also as a ps3 owner i have to say that the inifinity ward developed games RUN and look the best

MW1 2 and 3 all run smooth even on split screen but both treyarch developed World at War and Black Ops which run on the same engine not only both look worse but also play choppier... probably because they are not as good with the engine as the original developers but they also have worse artists making the maps/models/animations

Im losing respect for this game more and more every year; I love call of duty and i am a big fan of it but its time for them to lay low and wait a few years to come back out. Everything is the same, graphics not really improving and its the same story line. Im not one of those dudes who plays the game on its hardest category but the normals is just way too easy. I respect games like Uncharted, Grand Theft Auto and Battlefield because its way more things to do then just shooting people. Call Of Duty is Dumbed the way down and it could be better then what it is and also unattainable. Wait a year or two before they make a new one. They bring out every year for nothing. People are still playing Call of Duty 4 and that game came out like 6 years ago.

say what you want about black ops, but i wouldnt mind seeing a part 2! treyarch did some amazing stuff with the cod series! theater mode, wager matches, and such! wonder if they can top that... i can still put in black ops and play one in the camber and still be entertained!
