New Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3′s dlc maps for ps3 announced today

Activision announced today that its Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 game title for the PlayStation 3 will be getting new DLC maps later this month. The new content will be available to download by Premium Members on the PlayStation Network starting February 28. It will include two multiplayer maps called Liberation and Piazza.

The Call of Duty Elite Drop 1: Liberation will take place in a militarized Central Park in the heart of NYC. It features a vast landscape great for long-range sniper and LMG k!lls with mounted turrets on each end of the map. Elite Drop 2: Piazza takes place in a seaside village where blind corners and complex branching pathways means danger lurks at every turn and ensures plenty of close-quarter combat.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3′s content season is co-developed by Infinity Ward, Sledgehammer Games, and Raven Software. The new maps have already been released for the Xbox 360 last month due to an exclusivity deal between Activision and Microsoft. Hence, new DLC content for Call of Duty will always be available first for Premium Members on Xbox 360, but Premium Members on PS3 will also get the content ahead of non-premium members on the PS3.

So when do non-Elite members get access and how much I gotta pay for 2 maps this time?

Unless they are waiting for release a 5x map pack in like two months for regulars for $15?

naw it will be 2 maps a month, till September and idk maybe 1200 or 800? LOL

and the maps suppose to come out 2 months earlier for 'ELITE' players. i searched around and i keep getting they coming to everyone else in march late feb...

lets charge 50 for elite upfront for both consoles, but fk over the ps3 users cuz they dont know our contract with microsoft is still active

at least you get it before non elite members..they don't get it until March That agreement ends in 2012..so when the first content drops for the new COD, it will be 2013 anyways for the first one so PS3 users will get the content the same time. No one ever said if you get Elite that you get the maps along with XBL users. PS3 users have no reason to !!. Activision is contractually obligated to release DLC first on XBL.

how do you know theyre not gonna sign another contract?

$50 for elite and they give you 2 maps after almost 4 months of release date
what they should do is take away some weak[..] maps and give us some free ones
what i want to know is when are we going to be getting a whole weekend of double of XP without having to buy elite or those maps
the other COD games used to have new maps by January if i recall
