The new Resident Evil video game depicts a white man in what appears to be Africa k!lling Black people. The Black people are supposed to be zombies and the white man’s job is to destroy them and save humanity. “I have a job to do and I’m gonna see it through.”

This is problematic on so many levels, including the depiction of Black people as inhuman savages, the k!lling of Black people by a white man in military clothing, and the fact that this video game is marketed to children and young adults. Start them young… fearing, hating, and destroying Black people.

although i will admit, ppl might be looking to deep into this (keyword might cus u can all speculate all u want but no1 really knows what capcom's whole purpose was in creating this storyline), that !! jus doesnt look right [pic] come on the second all of you saw that trailer u knew there was gunna be some drama so dont be surprised

and i didn't know a game that's made for 17 year olds and older was marketed at children. this is almost as bad as when them people were complaining about GTA 4's Liberty City being based on NYC and they said that the game had drug dealing to children. SMFH

yeah but u got kids as little as 5 and 6 playin gears of war now a days cause parent dont do their job........

but I guess to them it's a lot easier just to blame a video game company then it is to actually monitor what your kid is doing, playing, and seeing. [pic]

EXACTLY. the games aren't marketed to kids at all. THE GAME SAYS 17+! there is no way that a kid under 17 without an ID can buy that game so somewhere along the line, if a kid is playing Gears or RE5 or MGS3, someone had to have gotten it for them and if a parent is watching their kid play these games and don't have a problem with it then that's another issue. [pic] @how they really did take the easy route and blamed the game companies.

Targeted towards young people? Hmmmm, i guess there is no such thing as 18+ yr old gamers in the world.

I never understood the difference, between a white guy k!lling white people in poor conditions vs. a white guy k!lling black people in poor conditions. and its not like the antagonist were bad to begin wit, they were innocent people prolly that became brainwashed.

And if somebody says the difference is that they're black then k!ll yoself. We dont deserve to be put on a pedestal, our ANCESTORS deserve to be put on a pedestal because they are the ones who've been through the worst. Whats funny is that alot of people (especially on here) think that "black people" think that the game is raciest, when in reality it's a select few of people who happen to be black that are uninformed on the subject. If you were a black person and you knew nothing of this game and saw the trailer, you might have thought the same thing. Now these people need to educate themselves before making statements tho, because thats just ignorance.

Hopefully they dont got Chris Redfield saying any racial type !! tho, I mean I highly doubt he will tho seeing as how it's a video game and they have people screening !! like that.
