Marvel Vs. Capcom 3: Last Rise of Heroes [DOWNLOAD NOW]

-this game is not perfect. remember that when you play. do not expect this game's quality to be on par with the real Vs. series games, although it's pretty damn close as far as gameplay and design goes, especially since it's 100% free. it has some occasional freezing, sometimes it crashes, but this is all very rare and not a big deal, but still worth mentioning, so don't think you got a bad download or some !!.

-sometimes when you start the game and press buttons to skip the Capcom and/or Marvel logo the game will just freeze right there. DON'T PANIC. it's loading. after all the !! got over a gig of characters to load. give it a few seconds. if it doesn't go to the start screen right away, just keep pressing a button until it comes. also sometimes when you start the music will start skipping. don't worry, that'll go away when you start playing.

-many characters in this game are in beta form. some you won't notice that they're incomplete since they're near perfect, some are very noticable to the point you won't even play with them. *cough*DanteSunfire*cough* i'll admit that i mostly left em in the game to make the roster complete and diverse, but those little rotten apples won't ruin this fruit basket of a game. as the characters get updated, i'll update you all on em also.

-uh...i hate to say this but...not every stage has music built in...and by "not every" i mean "7 stages have music..." here's the thing about that though. the music files were not included in the stages that i downloaded and it wasn't until i downloaded and simultaneously extracted 50+ .RAR files of stages that i realized this. i could go on the net and look for the music to match the stages, (and that'd be IF i could even figure out exactly what the stages are and where they're all from) but that'd result in another day wasted just doing some tedious BS for music.

-i understand that even though the game is still fun as !! without music everywhere, music really completes the experience of gaming and without it in fighting games it just feels wrong. so to remedy that here's what i'm requesting: i KNOW i'm not the only MUGEN head on this board (Chuck...) and i know some of you with MUGEN out there have tons of stages with music for each cuz you guys have perfected MUGENs (Chuck...). so i'm asking if any of you other MUGEN users (Chuck...) with music filled stages would be willing to upload and send your "stages" and "sound" folders as well as your select.def file for me to incorporate into Marvel vs. Capcom 3 for EVERYONE to enjoy. so basically, i'm tired of working on this !!, i wanna get it out there, and this is the last step before getting it perfect, feel me? thanks.

-IMPORTANT: the game is set to run fullscreen at 1280x1024. however if you want it windowed or at a different resolution just PM me and i'll tell you specifically what to do.

-some, but not all, characters have their own built in AI that is programmed by their respective creators. this AI may be very hard or very easy, depending on the character, but it will override the difficulty setting set in the Options menu...sorry. but if you're getting pissed off at a character with bull!! AI doing bull!! moves, then you can use Hotkeys to your advantage.

Hotkeys:

F1 - Automatically defeats the opponent(s).
F2 - Reduces all fighters' health to 1, which means one-hit k!ll.
F3 - Maxes out all fighters' Special meters.
F4 - Restarts round.
F5 - TIME OVER.
Space Bar - Maxes out all players' health and Special meters.

-another thing, most characters have crazy alternate costumes, and some of em are glitchy. for example some alternate costumes will have palettes and sprites blending which make for ugly ish. almost every character's default costume can be chosen with Low Kick (LK). if not then most likely it's Low Punch (LP). this may not be important to some, i'm one of those guys that likes default costumes only. !! a orange and black Spider-Man.

uhm...other than that, enjoy, i guess. i had fun setting this up and playing it, hope you guys do too.

again, to play just download the RAR. the password is bxgs. extract the folder somewhere. open the folder and open the "Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 - Last Rise of Heroes.exe". i suggest you make a shortcut of the .exe somewhere so you don't gotta go into the folder and risk !!ing something up. MUGEN is some sensitve !!.

UPDATE:

i been getting a bunch of PMs bout the resolution. i just realized that the 1280x1024 resolution won't work on all video cards and you're most likely getting an error saying it can't run the game that way. so here's a file for the resolution to be set fullscreen at 800x600. all monitors should be able to handle that. it's not that big of a resolution, but it gets the job done. again any specific resolutions you guys want just PM me and i'll get it done quick, no problem.

i just downloaded it and if i must say i am very pleased with this...i am concerned that i found this when finals are coming up though...calculus final isnt nearly as important as iron man specials

how do you use special moves in this?...and what are the keys for gameplay?
