Madden NFL 13 Roster Update #5 Details

The roster update for Madden NFL 13 that follows week three of the season is slated to release by Saturday morning on both the Xbox 360 and PS3. This update, like last week’s, will only apply to Play Now and Online games. Updated rosters to use when starting new Connected Careers are only planned to go out periodically during the season and at its conclusion.
Maurice Jones-Drew takes a step towards reaching the pinnacle by moving up a point to 98. Jamaal Charles gets a lift to 92, T.Y. Hilton goes up 5, and Golden Tate gets a boost of 3. Players hitting the IR include Austin Collie, Adrian Clayborn, and Roy Helu. Darrelle Revis has not been placed on the IR yet but has been moved down the depth chart. Also of note is the “SR.” is being added to Titus Young’s jersey while Joe Flacco has been given the “Clutch” trait and Anthony Armstrong the “Drops Open Passes” trait.
Calls for more balance in the roster updates clearly went completely ignored as the net number of players gaining in ratings compared to those dropping comes in at a hefty +79. The teams benefiting the most this week are the Seahawks and Bills (+12) along with the Jaguars and Cardinals (+8). Those taking the biggest hits are the Panthers and Chargers (-7) followed by the Buccaneers (-3).
