Exactly. Its like mainstream vs underground. Corporate vs Mom & Pop, and so on.

The call of duty franchise only cares about profit. Period. As long as they continue making money, they could care less about quality. Once again, Quality vs Quantity.

Borderlands 2 is not going to make anywhere near as much money, BUT their product will be of quality. Their goals is to please their fans, and provide a fun gaming experience. Even if they will make a lot less money that others.

That is why I stopped supporting the MW franchise.

In MP, stat tracking, rpg elements, diverse gun selections, customizations are not new, but all were improved upon by Cod, only a hater cant see that.

in SP, since COD4 have damn-near revolutionized intense story-driven games. What other games used the same kind of on-off-the rails-gunplay. The way u interact with characters, the way they act around you. you !!in kidding me? Of course they arent on the level of a bioshock level game but come on, THEY'RE WAR GAMES! you KNOW how its gonna end. You cant create much in the way of a set situation. Period.

Modern Warfare/COD4 was the best one, hands down. Once they added the nuke, and the whole get 15 k#lls without dying crap, it completely changed online gaming.

Too many perks, k#ll streaks, etc. came into play. It took away everything an online FPS game was about. Team work, strategy, etc. COD4 was very simple. MW black ops, mw3 is not the same.

Back in the day you had to get a X amount of k#lls to unlock a weapon, perk, cla#s, scope, camo, etc. Now all you have to do is camp, and prestige to get it. Remember when you actually had to get like 250-1000 head shots to unlock something good? Where the hell is that now?

I've played EVERY cod game since it's existence, and it has not gotten better. The graphics engine, cool effects, etc. have but as far as actual gameplay, skill, strategy, team work it has gone down hill from there. Even the maps are just half-a#sed now.

I played MW1 Professionally, as I did Halo 2. Not someone who played real good, but someone who actually competed and played against some of the best. Trust me, the games have not gotten better.

If thats the case, when you ask someone which MW game is the best. Black Ops & MW3 are NEVER mentioned. Except by some ignorant 14 year old that never played anything before Black Ops.

The !! are you talking about. You know all that !! you mentioned was done by other FPS way before COD right? The only thing COD has brought to the FPS genre besides watering it down is the casual market and k#llstreaks. Revolutionized story-driven games? You might as well came out and said your trolling. I guess you think Michael Bay also creates Masterpieces right? Easy to see you started gaming on COD so your opinion is irrelevant to the matter. If you want to see the future of your little franchise look at what Counter Strike and Battlefield are doing since thats where Call of Duty has stolen all of its main ideas from.

PC's in here dont count mother!!ers wanna bring up PC gaming when it helps them get there point across but as soon as someone brings up PC being the best for playing games on it doesnt count cause its not a console.

Probably one of the best FPS's of all time. No vehicles, no perks, no k#llstreaks, etc.

Just a map, weapon, knife, and hand grenade, and a whole lot of skill and strategy.

I use to play it for a few years. Still have the PC copy.
