Update 1: It turns out the DLC is available on Xbox LIVE, but it can only be downloaded from the Left 4 Dead 2 menu. It does not currently appear on Xbox.com. Additionally, the DLC is currently showing up for free.
Before you all get excited, we believe that this is a mistake.
First off, the DLC does not work, and we have many reports of it freezing at 99%. Secondly, the DLC is not supposed to be free, and is still supposed to cost 560 Microsoft Points. We aren’t sure what will happen to those who try to purchase it for free, but we recommend you hurry if your going to try that route as it will probably be patched soon.

Left 4 Dead 2′s new DLC campaign – Cold Stream, was supposed to be released last week on Xbox LIVE. However, after a no show, Valve took to Twitter to let everyone know that it was delayed indefinitely.
This week, they let everyone know that the newly scheduled release date would be Friday, August 3, or otherwise known as today. The DLC is still not available, and no word has been given as to why.
So to recap: Left 4 Dead 2′s Cold Stream DLC which didn’t release last week on time, has also missed the launch window for today as well. | Left 4 Dead 2 Cold Stream Still Not Available on Xbox LIVE [Updated] - 360Sync.com just don't release it. |
