FF7 >> FF8 and it's not close. square/enix fell off after the masterpiece that is FF7. hard to follow up that kind of heat.

fell off? it was just squaresoft btw, enix coming in was when it fell off but 7-10 is when they were at their PEAK.

Never understood why ppl hated 8... yeah the magic system was different but if you knew how to work it the game was fun... story and characters were dope too, intro sequence used to get me hype!
