Is FFVII really that good?

imo it's one of the best in the main series only outdone by 6...
8-9 were dope, 10=was !!ing corny and linear as !! 11=... 12=had certain dope elements but all in all and outside of balthie had one of rmost forgettable cast i've ever seen in gaming , 13 series=is jpop japan-centric girly trash with a !!ty combat system that felt like you had no control and not to mention it too was even more linear than that !!ty[..] ff10

Chocobo breeding>>

...I keep telling myself I'm going to sit down and breed some Chocobos, but the truth is I'll never do that [pic] I mean hell, I beat the game 14 years ago without Knights Of The Round, ENC-None, and all that other trill Materia, so why go through all that now (And 'that' includes beating Emerald and Ruby WEAPONs)?

it's not that bad. you just catch 2 specific wild chocobos, race them to as high of a class as you can get, then breed them till they have the right type and gender of chocobo you want, which can be trial and error so you may have to save and reset. breed them a second time until you end up with a blue and a green one of opposite genders.

race them to a high class as well, breed them (incest [pic] ) and you should get a black chocobo. catch one more specific wild chocobo and race it up, then breed it with the black one and you get a gold one. along the way you'll need to buy sylkhis greens from the chocobo breeder to boost their stats which helps with racing, and you'll need like 4 or 5 carob nuts or something which you can steal from an enemy.

this is from memory, so i might be off a little, but you could do all that in a few hours [pic]

lol beyond that you'd just need a guide to find out exactly which type of chocobos you need to find in the wild and where to get them. i also forget the enemy you can still the breeding nut (pause) from. you need a lot of gil to buy the greens. the most effective way to get gil is to master an "all" materia and sell it for 1.4 mil. by the time you'd be ready for breeding, you'll probably have several. the whole process of feeding them greens and racing them to higher classes improves your odds of getting the right chocobos, but it's not actually necessary if you want to keep trying and reloading.




haha i don't know. i beat it recently and i feel like it didn't take too long for that i don't think. another thing is if you plan on using an emulator, most of them allow you to increase the game speed which would make the racing go a lot faster.

[pic] in my main save, the clock froze at 99:59:59...and that was probably less than half of the playtime i put into it. got all of my characters to level 99 [pic]

also have a save where i used the gameshark to access the debug room and bring somebody back to my party after they left [pic] (don't want to spoil it since you haven't played)
