EA has the ability to use the ESPN license and the NFL license but they choose not too.

Still own this game and it's still better than any madden game.

How long does EA have the NFL rights?

i think its either up either at the end of this NFL season or the next but its soon.

unfortunately the NFL doesnt care about gamers so id hate to say it but i woundnt doubt if EA gets another exclusive deal from the NFL.

i hope the NFL does the right thing and doesnt give exclusive rights to any company [pic]

Good football game 7 years ago..... but still wasn't better than Madden 05 that year

2K had their chance to impress w/ All Pro Football and they fell flat on their face, lets face it that game was horrible and it wasn't because you couldn't be pro teams either that game was just bad you can buy it for a $1 and try it yourself if you dont believe me.

We watched NBA Live slowly die we watched NBA 2k, (even with its flaws) get better and better more creative etc..

Ea has no competition, they know it and they show the fans that they give No !!s.

How long did it take them to updated the Franchise mode? how many years did it take to apply a salary cap to online franchise?

They have had the ESPN & NFL Network license since 06. Six years later have they created anything as detailed and direct as the 2k5 sport center show?

When NFL 2K and Madden were going head to head... both games were hitting strides and going iN on the features year after year (2000-2005)... when dumb[..] NFL put the license on the market to be bought, and EA won... Madden got stagnant.. Madden 05 was the last good football game (before Ian took over and turned them around)

2k football and basketball has always been better than ea sports

The only thing I liked about 2K was the helmet cam. That being said I don't like nothing about madden.

if madden just stole the 2k presentation and game style then it would be a goat game. 2k had that swag feeling too it. Miss going into my crib getting all the trophies. Custom sound tracks. I remember I was rocking The Carter everyday.

2K5 was ahead of its time, and Madden 05 was nice that year too. But 2K5 was amazing, and 2K needs to bring back The Crib feature I used to love that !!.

Konami might be bringing back the 2K series.
