Dragon Age III Officially Announced

Dragon Age 3: Inquisition, the third game in BioWare's Dragon Age franchise, will be released on late 2013. According to BioWare and EA, the game will combines "the storytelling legacy BioWare is known for" with "deep RPG gameplay." It will be built on a new RPG game engine "underpinned by EA’s critically-acclaimed Frostbite 2 technology."

“The Dragon Age team has been working on Dragon Age 3: Inquisition for almost two years now,” said Aaryn Flynn, General Manager of BioWare Edmonton and BioWare Montreal in a statement. “We’ve been poring over player feedback from past games and connecting directly with our fans. They haven’t held back, so we’re not either. With Dragon Age 3: Inquisition, we want to give fans what they’re asking for – a great story with choices that matter, a massive world to explore, deep customization and combat that is both tactical and visceral.”

I'd love to be able to tell you more -- show some pictures and maybe a video -- but there is no more to tell at the present. As soon as we get any more information, we'll let you know.

I like this series and it's story for the most part so I hope the 3rd will be dope, I'm just hoping it's more open world like the 1st, staying in kirkwall all game [pic] da 2's ending and tediousness [pic]

I wanna see what happens to hawke and the warden

What was so bad about the second one? Bought it when it was on sale for twenty but haven't even opened it yet. Is it really that bad?

its not that bad, but compared to the 1st one, was was AMAZING its a piece of !!, but standalone, its a decent game

the problem is that they dumbed it down from the first and the whole game takes place in one city, and the missions arent as dynamic as the first one, plus the first one had better characters and the story was more intriguing

also the first one had more replay value, !! i played origins 7 times and it was fresh each time, cuz they have different origin stories u can pick and u can be different races of ppl, in dragon age 2, u can only be Hawke

Dragon Age 2. you see the same !!in caves too much.. never played origins unfortunately.

It's not even about DA2 being a flawed game; it's just that... the game feels so damn unpolished you could tell that not much effort went into it.

IDK I really enjoyed 2, obviously not as much as 1 but I enjoyed it. I think a major flaw was they kinda got rid of the create your own character aspect that made the first one and games like skyrim so great. Being forced to be a character that u can only design kinda takes away from it in my opinion
