Devil May Cry 4 to the 360? PSM says YES!

Playing DMCs,GTAs,SMACKDOWNs, (name other ex PS exclusives) ect, on a CHEAPER BOX FROM 2005= Playing a poor mans PS. Look at it like this when MS is thinking of bringing a xbox 360 v.2 to match PS3, it should make it clear what their plan is[pic] .

Devil May Cry, like it or not, is a big Capcom franchise. Whilst not up there with the likes of Resident Evil and Street Fighter, it is oft touted as one of the really good titles available for the PS2. It’s newest incarnation Devil May Cry 4 was to be a PS3 exclusive, and Sony were obviously quite happy to have it. Problem is, like most of Sony’s so called exclusives…it could be
This rumour has been thrown around before, but like our recent piece new evidence has come to light which makes a port seem much more likely. had this to say on the matter:

Jonah tipped us off on the contents of his official Playstation Magazine (yes, the same one with the Gears ad). Inside, there is an article discussing the future of Devil May Cry 4 and whether it will remain a PS3 exclusive. PSM is reporting that Capcom will be showing some more Microsoft love and will be bringing the series to the Xbox 360. We’ve all heard this rumor before, but we’re starting to feel a little more giddy by the day. Are you guys interested in Devil May Cry 4 coming to the 360 and do you think it’ll help with console sales?

Sony seem incapable of any luck at the moment. Between losing franchises left right and centre to the competition and posting up a picture of Project Gotham as a screenshot , it seems Sony need to concentrate hard on just staying afloat in the business. The fact the PS3 is going to cost over £100 more in the UK than in the USA doesn’t help matters much either.
But enough with the Sony bashing for one news piece. Devil May Cry is a good action series, and the more people who get the opportunity to play it, the better. Bring it over Capcom - or did those incredible sales of Dead Rising and Lost Planet not convince you we 360 owners love your games?

so how about a nice multiplatform tradeoff...they might as well bring lost planet and dead rising over (breach the monetary contract with MS). They'll make loads more money ruling 2 platforms.

How is the Xbox 360 a "poor man's PS3?" How can a system that came out almost a year before the PS3 possibly be guilty of in any way imitating it? All of the online capabilities of the PS3 are blatant rip-offs of Xbox Live, which unlike Sony's offering is actually a well-designed, thought out and useful service. The people who've labeled the 360 as somehow being a poor substitute for the PS3 are forgetting that Microsoft was showing real hardware specs and real gameplay videos at a time when Ken Kuteragi was parading around pretty pre-rendered k!llzone 2 "gameplay" trailers and making bull!! claims about 80-million-poly character models on the PS3 (which, by the way, more closely resembles a Foreman Grill than a video game console). The PS3 might seem like an attractive "cheap" Blu-Ray player right now, but I wonder if the people who buy it will still think that in another few years, when/if Sony loses the format wars to HD DVD? The PS3 is actually quite cheap, compared to what it should cost; Sony loses $350 on every console they sell. Some business plan they've got... [pic]

Oh, and ask any developer what they think of the PS3 architecture: they'll probably complain that making games for the system is like performing brain surgery on a hummingbird using your eyebrows. Developing for the 360, by contrast, is almost identical to developing for the PC.
