I'm a Genesis dude but the SNES had better ports and exclusives. Though I want to say the Genesis had way more games for it though. Probably due to it being out first.

They both were great systems for me. I played all my sports titles on the Genesis and mainly everything else on the SNES. f!ghting games were beast on the SNES

SNES takes a big steaming pile on the Genesis.

Genesis had classics, but SNES had it beat in just about every category.

SNES>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Genesis I had both though lol epic fanboy debates back then

If im being real though genesis had a couple gems that Snes didnt have an answer for though.....

Shinobi & Stryder were like that 1-2 combo Ninja gaiden was beasty but couldn't touch either in the cool factor

SNES was better by far based off of games alone

but I had both and I loved both but I do admit Genesis kinda died during the SNES era everyone at my house just stopped playing it.

Yeah that was an exclusive and Mutant League Hockey

those were some of favorite games ever on the sega

honestly that and sonic were prob the only reason we kept playing genesis once we had our SNES.

^this game was so damn fun

Didn't SEGA just have blood innately and you had to use the blood code for SNES?

I would have to say SNES based off Donkey Kong alone

Sega had a few really good games like streets of rage but i still play quite a few SNES games to this day I actually played through Mario RPG not too long ago
