It's not the exact same. Wireless, triggers, and PS Button set em apart. needless to say, those modifications make it better to me. Although the triggers could use some improvements.

Regardless, none of the controllers in this thread can be called the best. Obviously has to be a tie between the Dreamcast and Xbox 360. [pic]

And Jizzman, it becomes more obvious by the day that you didn't start gaming until this generation.

it's not the GOAT controller because the d-pad was pointless and never used. and even if you did need to use it it was inconvenient to get to because you had to reposition your hand.

whoa wait is this a joke topic I have never in my life seen someone claim the N64 had the best controller, or even a good one. the layout, design, pretty much everything about it is terrible

Yea the N64 controller was pretty bad. Only thing I liked about it was the fact that it introduced an analog stick and made playing FPS games possible. But other than that I feel like that controller gave me early onset arthritis [pic]
