Battlefield 3 - New Years Double XP Weekend

A new year is among us, a new plethora of games heading our way. Want a great way to end it? This weekend, double XP in Battlefield 3.

Double XP for Premium members will be available on all ranked maps and modes. A great chance to get to know the new maps that recently shipped in with the latest expansion, Aftermath. The double XP event will run for a total of 144 hours.

yo how much is this game going for trade in value im tryin to get prem. would it be smarter to buy dlcs(how mych are those) or trade it in and pay difference for used one at gamestop

I had the regular battlefield 3 and on black friday i bought the premium game for 30 bucks and sold my regular battlefield for 10 bucks at best buy...

So really i paid 20 bucks for the premium edition...

If you buy just the premium DLC i think its like atleast 50 bucks

I have all the guns unlocked and in like at level 3 star for all classes just need vehicle upgrades mostly but I don't have premium so owell

All non-premium members don't worry, lately all their "double XP" hasn't even been !!ing double. It's like a random calculator that gives you less XP when you score big and more XP when you suck.

I've steadily gotten 14,000-20,000 combat XP and my "double XP" has been 3,000-4,000 or less. That's not even including any XP I should be getting for my award score. And of course, all DICE has to say about is "This has been noted and we will be looking into this".

I'm thinking about buying BF3 today I was wondering is the game at the end of it's life? I know it's been out awhile and it's price has dropped a bit. I wanna buy the premium version but I want to make sure that there's still plenty of life still in the game. Is BF4 coming out anytime soon?

BF3 is still full of life by far.... and another dlc is still gonna drop soon.

game is still the best fps till BF4 comes out 2013 holiday season.......

bf4 wont be out anytime soon

as far as this game still having life. I got this game MW3, and Skyrim when they all came out. I have since traded in MW3, and Skyrim is collecting dust. This game still gets played weekly for me.

every DLC has pretty much been like buying a brand new game.

As me and my homeboy call it "BF3 is the gift that just keeps giving" and we still have another DLC to go [pic]
