Batman AC/Assassin's Creed III 1080p On Wii-U

Recent reports from the Chicago Wii U Experience tour seem to indicate Batman: Arkham City – Armored Edition and[..]assin’s Creed III will run natively at 1080p. It has been confirmed that the Wii U will be able to play games at 1080p but almost every game we have seen so far has only been running at 720p. Although there has been no official confirmation from the games developers, the Nintendo reps on the Chicago Wii U Experience tour did state Batman: Arkham City – Armored Edition and[..]assin’s Creed III will run natively at 1080p.

With reports claiming the Wii U is very easy to develop for and cheap to port games to, the news of the possibility that launch title/window games running at 1080p is another piece of very good news for Nintendo fans.

You hear that? Port that's all that's going to be done. No simultaneous stuff for the Wii U just porting and up scaling.

Just wait until the the new PS and Box comes out.

No simultaneous stuff? You realize that AC3 is an upcoming release right? So what if they port it. At least it'll have better graphics than the 360 and ps3 [pic] still wouldn't cop a Wii U though, not after being burned by the Wii. [pic]

Obsolete? This thing has multiplats games running at a higher resolution than ps3/360 games and nintendo exclusives. it's going to sell very nicely.

It will sell I agree and I think it will be a better console than both PS3 and that other low quality piece of !!. People in here WILL say still its a console for kids even though it will have some of the very same titles running at higher resolutions.

I am talking about being developed by a divided team like they do the PS3 and the 360. The WiiU is now the PS3 from 2006-2008(lazy devs only did ports for PS3).

I'm gonna get one for Nintendo exclusives. You know damn well they will drop some gems.

Super Smash Brothers with an actual working online network? 1080P Zelda, 3D Mario, 2D Mario, Donkey Kong Country (Rumored that Retro busy working on another DKC), WaveRaceHD.

It will be worth it for the exclusives alone.

The misconception is that just because 360 and PS3 can run games at 1080p that the majority of them are. Its kinda like when people see a game being played for the first time and the graphics is astonishing and clean very breathtaking then the little HUD comes up and says for "PS3, 360 and PC" and think what they are actually seeing is the console version but its really the PC version running on a high end rig. Like this years E3, the MOH game, Skyrim, and BF3.
