Young Money star Drake may be following in Lil Wayne's foot steps by hinting at plans to possibly hang up the microphone for good once he enters his 30s.

Although Drizzy didn't note a specific age, he did say that senior citizen rap status is something he would like to avoid.

"I personally think that when I find that person and when it is est@blished we are going to enter a serious relationship--I mean I don't even know if I'll still be making rap music. I don't know how long I necessarily want to make rap music for. You know, there are artists who are 35 and up that still make rap and that still works for them. I don't know if I want to be that guy. A lot of my music is about being young and figuring it all out. I don't know if I can still make my brand of music when I am up there. Maybe I'll be just acting or whatever it is. I plan to make as much music as I can until a story from Drake doesn't impact you as it used to." (i-D Magazine)

Last month, Cash Money Records CEO Birdman addressed Drizzy's labelmate, Nicki Minaj, potentially retiring in the near future.

"That's her choice, her decision. I don't think Nicki is ready to retire. She really just started. I don't see that in the near future for her at all right now," he said in an interview. "I like young boy Chief [Keef]. I think he's a great young talent. I sent my hand out to him. We'll see what happens." (Complex)

A week prior, Minaj hinted at a possible early departure from the rap game.

Last summer, Lil Wayne spoke on hanging up the mic sooner rather than later.

During a Livestream session, she revealed some of her collaborators on the album including 2 Chainz, Kid Cudi, Chippy Nonstop, DB Tha General, V-n@sty, Sissy Nobby, and Diplo.

“One song will be super Bay, like trying to ‘Function’ and one song will be I’m about to shake my[..] with Sissy Nobby in New Orleans, and then one song will be I’m about to hit the jukestep in Chicago with Chippy,” she said.

The video for the first single “Breakfast” featuring 2 Chainz will premiere on Monday, May 21. “It’s the most important meal of the day, so everybody needs their breakfast,” said the 22-year-old. “It will be a great music video because I directed it and everything I direct is great.”

Kreayshawn, who will perform at the Bamboozle festival in New Jersey this weekend, also expressed her desire to release a mixtape called Screamin’ Kreay Hawkins.

Slaughterhouse also says that it's possible the album won't drop on its June 12th release date.

Slaughterhouse has been recording their Shady Records debut welcome to: Our House, releasing on June 12th. But according to the group, the recording for the album is complete and Eminem is still mixing a few records for the project.

During an interview with MTV News, Royce Da 5’9 said that all the vocals have been knocked out but that a possible album delay could occur. “The album is done. In terms of vocal recording, we're done. Marshall is still in the process of mixing, we still got a couple of records that we're missing," he said. "We're on pace for June, worst-case scenario, we're looking at July, but it's definitely coming, 100 percent.”

Joell Ortiz explained how the album has both upbeat and introspective records, deeming the album “personal.” “It's a really personal album, but there are records like 'My Life' which are celebratory," he said. “There are records were those core Slaughterhouse fans will get their 'Ohs and ahs' like 'OK, the pen is pushing. It's themed, but we take you on a ride through this album. Y'all gonna enjoy it."

The fourth day of testimony in the trial of James “Jimmy Henchman” Rosemond continued today (May 17) in Federal court in Brooklyn, New York.

Federal authorities claim Rosemond headed up a $10 million-per-year cocaine operation that sold hundreds of kilos each month in the New York area, and sent millions in proceeds to the West Coast.

Today in court, federal prosecutors unveiled a number of purchases Rosemond made in cash for renovations to his luxury Brooklyn condominium.

Prosecutors produced receipts showing that Rosemond had hired a Miami, Florida company to install an audio/visual system in his condominium, which totaled $153,000.

Rosemond allegedly paid for some of the renovations by handing one contractor a bag of cash totaling $21,000.

He also paid another contractor a total of over $300,000 in cash to have to his luxury condominium refurbished.

Rosemond’s lawyer Gerald Shargel did not dispute the fact that Rosemond made a number of large purchases in cash, and implied that the proceeds came from Rosemond’s legitimate business, Czar Entertainment.

Another witness was produced, named Julissa Quinones, who Rosemond used to date.

Quinones testified that in May of 2011, Rosemond gave her a large amount of cash to take to Los Angeles, where he planned to meet with her to pick up the money.

Quinones attempted to fly to Los Angeles, but was stopped by Federal agents, who questioned her about where the cash originated.

When she landed in Los Angeles, two more agents further questioned Quinones, took pictures of her holding a large bag of money, and allegedly forced her to sign a cooperation agreement.

“They [agents] said it was drug money,” Quinones testified. “But he [Jimmy] said that was not the case.”

According to Quinones, the agents coached her on what to write on a cooperation agreement.

Quinones, 25, even said agents told her to write that the proceeds were derived from illegal activities.

She then gave authorities Rosemond’s cell phone number, and authorities promptly seized the cash, which was still stuffed inside her Louis Vuitton knapsack, as well as another carry-on bag.

EL SEGUNDO, Calif. -- Los Angeles Lakers guard Steve Blake was the unsung hero of his team's first-round series victory over the Denver Nuggets, scoring 19 points in Game 7.

But he learned quickly how a town can turn on him after he missed a potential game-winning 3 in the Lakers' 77-75 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday.

After the game, both the Twitter feeds of Blake and his wife, Kristen, were inundated with criticism ranging from curse word-laden rants to threats.

"I hope your family gets murked," read one tweet that Kristen Blake re-tweeted along with a single comment: "Wow."

Kristen Blake also mentioned on her Twitter account that she blocked more than 500 people from viewing her timeline and quoted a Bible verse that included the message: "Pray for those who abuse you."

Steve Blake responded to the troublesome situation after Lakers practice on Thursday.

"It's pretty disappointing that there are a lot of hateful people out there, but you move on," Blake said. "I just don't appreciate it when it's toward my family. You can come at me all you want but when you say things about my wife and my kids, that makes me upset."

Blake said his wife first made him aware of the threats when she checked her husband's Twitter feed.

"That's why I don't look at that crap," Blake said. "I'll just let it be."

This has been bothering me for some time. I suppose this is more directed at Kinect, but Ghost Recon brought this to my attention on the Move side too. What's up with devs half-assing Move or Kinect implementation? I'm tired of this, either let us use it in the whole game, don't make that sh-t exclusive to one platform when the other can do the same damn thing, or dont put it in at all. Is this so hard? Look at Ghost Recon, it features both Kinect AND Move support, but they do the exact same thing!? Are you kidding me? You're telling me that they couldn't fulled implement Move into the game? There's no excuse for this, that's just lazy as fu-k. :smh:

I understand that MS and/or Sony might pay off devs for certain features, but at least make them make good use of the feature, not have it feel like an afterthought.

A possible source of the so-called "birther" issue--or at least a potential cause of the rumors that have dogged President Barack Obama--has been identified.

Obama's former literary agency misidentified his birthplace as Kenya while trying to promote the then-Harvard Law grad as an author in 1991.

According to a promotional booklet produced by the agency, Acton & Dystel, to showcase its roster of writers, Obama was "born in Kenya and raised in Indonesia and Hawaii."

Miriam Goderich edited the text of the bio; she is now a partner at the Dystel & Goderich agency, which lists Obama as one of its current clients.

"This was nothing more than a fact checking error by me--an agency[..]istant at the time," Goderich wrote in an emailed statement to Yahoo News. "There was never any information given to us by Obama in any of his correspondence or other communications suggesting in any way that he was born in Kenya and not Hawaii. I hope you can communicate to your readers that this was a simple mistake and nothing more."

A copy of the booklet was published on Breitbart.com, under the headline: " Obama's Literary Agent in 1991 Booklet: 'Born in Kenya and raised in Indonesia and Hawaii.' It was part of the "vetting" of the president the site's late founder, Andrew Breitbart, had promised.
