A shocking story is coming out of Everson, Washington, where a pre-teen was[..]d, impregnated and coerced into aborting her child.

The girl’s attacker brought her to Planned Parenthood, where she lied about how she was impregnated and subsequently had an abortion.

It was August 2012 when the preteen told clinic workers that her 14-year-old boyfriend was the baby’s father — a lie that was apparently told to protect the adult male who had perpetrated the crime.

It wasn’t until six weeks later that she told authorities what really happened. As a result, in April, Luis Gonztalez-Jose, 31, pleaded guilty to second-degree[..] of a child.

The horrific incident apparently occurred at a home in Whatcom County, while her mother was in the shower, reports The Bellingham Herald. Gonzalez-Jose will serve nearly seven years in prison as a result of the crime and will be deported upon release.

The case has sparked intense critique from LifeNews, a pro-life organization. In a recent article highlighting the girl’s tragic story, the outlet wrote, “The abortion business apparently did the abortion without hesitation.” The original report in the Herald noted that the girl told the clinic she could not provide her boyfriend’s address or name — key elements that, if pressed, could have helped solve the crime before her admission.

The issue here is clearly one of disclosure. If information is hidden and not given to children’s parents, then secksual crimes may go unreported. In this case, the girl did tell an investigator what happened, but what if she hadn’t? Would Gonzalez-Jose still be free to continuing[..]aulting her and other young women?

In an interview with LifeNews, Mark Crutcher, head of Life Dynamics, another pro-life group, said that Planned Parenthood and other clinics are sometimes used to hide secksual crimes against minors.

“The abortion lobby is engaged in a pedophile protection racket and protecting pedophiles who[..] underage girls,” Crutcher said. “These abortion clinics receive money from the federal government. We are literally paying for the[..] of our young daughters.”

This is certainly a bold accusation — one that may come with some caveats. While these clinics may not purposefully be protecting pedophiles and secksual criminals, inadvertently, by not collecting the adequate information and by not informing families of what is happening with their children’s health, it is true that these crimes may — and sometimes do — go unreported (LifeNews has additional analysis).

Planned Parenthood has made it known that the organization, if state law permits it, will treat young people without the consent of their parents; the practice is highly controversial. Consider this description, published on the organization’s web site, of parental consent as it pertains to the state of Ohio (emphasis added):

Washington State also does not require parental involvement in these decisions, which is likely why the girl in this incident was able to have an abortion, while giving minimal details about how the pregnancy occurred. The Game Shirtless Rage After Fight Breaks Out At Hollywood Club

The Game was thiiiiiiiis close to jumping into a huge fight in Hollywood this weekend -- even taking off his shirt off in preparation for battle -- but something crazy happened ... his entourage held him back!

Game had been partying at Lure nightclub on Saturday night with some of his friends -- but moments after he talked to TMZ about the Eazy-E hologram, a fight broke out across the street ... and suddenly, it was mayhem in the streets.

It's unclear why or how Game was involved -- but he was definitely PISSED ... and clearly wanted to go beat someone's[..].

That's when his entourage stepped in -- one guy grabbed Game and physically restrained him ... while some other guys readied the rapper's car so they could get out of the situation before something bad happened.

Game eventually left the scene... right as cops began to arrive.

A story in the Washington Post yesterday about the Internal Revenue Service’s Cincinnati office, which does most of the agency’s nonprofit auditing, clearly contradicted earlier reports that the agency’s targeting of Tea Party groups was the result of rogue agents.

The Post story anonymously quoted a staffer in Cincinnati as saying they only operate on directives from headquarters:

In related news, I also noted how the Post’s story on the Cincinnati office also appears to contradict what Miller told Congress this week about how many auditors the IRS has covering nonprofit groups. Miller said the figure was between 140-200, but the Post story puts the figure at 900. The Post doesn't source the figure, but presumably that also came from people the reporters talked with in Cincinnati.

Chad Johnson was just arrested in Florida after a Broward County judge determined he violated his probation stemming from his 2012 domestic violence bust, TMZ.com reports.

A warrant had been issued for Johnson's arrest earlier this month after he failed to report to his probation officer on two occasions and failed to show proof of enrollment in a domestic violence education class.

Johnson's probation stemmed from his domestic violence conviction involving ex-wife Evelyn Lozada last year.

Johnson appeared in a Broward County courtroom over his alleged probation violation and moments ago, the judge determined Chad was in violation and ordered him to be arrested and jailed.

Assassin's Creed publisher says "it takes some time" to gather a fanbase, but new titles should help struggling platform.

Ubisoft is confident that the struggling Wii U will turn around. A representative for the[..]assin's Creed and Far Cry publisher told Games Industry International that a stream of high-profile Ubisoft titles coupled with Nintendo executing on its three-pronged strategy will give the platform new life.

"As with any new console, it takes some time to grow an est@blished base," the Ubisoft representative said. "Ubisoft has a varied and high-quality line-up for Wii U, with more big titles on the way including Rayman Legends, Watch Dogs,[..]assin's Creed IV: Black Flag, and Splinter Cell: Blacklist. We're confident that this will help in continuing to attract gamers to the Wii U system and that Nintendo will take steps to ensure that the Wii U is successful in the market."

Ubisoft's statement of faith in the Wii U comes after Battlefield and FIFA publisher Electronic Arts announced last week that after shipping four titles for the platform, it has no new games in development for the system. By comparison, EA supported the original Wii with 78 titles.

In addition, in a series of since-deleted tweets, an EA Sports engineer blasted the Wii U, calling the platform "crap" and saying Nintendo is "walking dead."

The Wii U has struggled since launch, selling 3.45 million units worldwide and reportedly only 55,000 systems in the United States during April. Nintendo has apologized for a lack of software, saying this will be corrected beginning in August with the release of Pikmin 3.

The all-new 3D Mario game for the Wii U announced in January is rumored to launch by October. Nintendo also has a new Mario Kart game in development for the system, as well as a Smash Bros. title and two Legend of Zelda games, among others.

Dubbed HTC Butterfly S, the handset has been spotted in a User Agent Profile XML file, which does not reveal much beyond its screen resolution. That is supposed to be 1080 by 1920 pixels – exactly what we have on the HTC Butterfly. The first time when we heard about the possibility of an HTC Butterfly successor launching was when a company executive confirmed that a sequel was coming indeed. He did not reveal further details, which leaves plenty of room for speculation. According to rumors, the HTC Butterfly S will adopt features found on the HTC One flagship, including BlinkFeed, an Ultrapixel camera sensor and Boom Sound audio with stereo speakers and all. intendo has said on Twitter that its next Nintendo Direct will feature a look at Wii U versions of Smash Bros, Mario Kart, and the new 3D Mario title in the works at the Japanese publisher.

The Nintendo of America Twitter account wrote "#IwataSays We will discuss new Smash Bros., 3D Mario game, Mario Kart and other Wii U titles in our #NintendoDirectNA before the start of E3."

Nintendo said in January that Nintendo EAD Tokyo, the team who made Mario Galaxy, Mario Galaxy 2 and Super Mario 3D Land, will be in charge of the new 3D Mario.

The new Smash Bros, meanwhile, is being developed by Namco Bandai.

No date has been given for the next Nintendo Direct. E3 2013 runs from June 11 through June 13.

Nintendo has opted out of a large-scale E3 press conference this year, saying it will instead focus its efforts elsewhere.

Last week's Nintendo Direct featured the publisher announcing a three-game exclusive Sonic partnership with Sega, a release date for New Super Luigi U, and new details about Pikmin 3.
