The reason he "felt weak", and "couldn't counter" wasn't because of being poisoned. It has completely to do with Karma.... everyone on earth knew that when RJJ lost 20+ puonds of muscle in 3 1/2- 4months... it f**ked him up... it drained him... that is, everyone on earth knew that except Tarver. Tarver claimed "that was Roy at his best, and I beat him" :smh:

Then Tarver goes and films a movie... where he played a heavyweight champion, so... Tarver gained a bunch of weight (some of it muscle), and then had to lose it. Then he felt weak and sluggish when fighting Hop.... that's Karma for ya.


On a side note, does anyone finded it funny that the role Tarver played in Rocky (Heavyweight champ of the world), was the role RJJ played in real life :lol:

Excuse? I lost 30 pounds in just over 10 weeks.... like i said before, i still haven't recovered, and that was 4 years ago. If you haven't been through it, then, you have no clue what your talking about.

Hop lost to RJJ.... RJJ wanted 60-40. Hop said no.... after a while (years), RJJ said 55-45, hop said no. So who was scared? RJJ put out offers. Hop turned them all down... its documented.

Also, why would RJJ have to lose weight? I mean Hop went up in weight to fight Tarver, but back then he wanted RJJ to come down in weight? Make no sense. You are not supposed to go down in weight.... that's a no-no.

first off. Tarver is a bi*ch. 'One hit wonder' suits him well. ANY respectable fighter who fought Roy under the circumstances Tarver did would have done the same and reaped the same benefits.


second, yes, straight up, B-Hop didnt really want it with Roy. there is ABSOLUTLEY NO excuse for not Hopkins agreeing to Roy's terms. u cant say Roy's demands were unreasonable 1)he was considered the P4P best 2)he was light-heavy champ of the world 3)HE ALREADY BEAT B-hop. it didnt matter what b-hop was able to accomplish after losing to Roy; point is he lost Roy AND Roy was still a champ.... if he REALLY wanted it, all he had to do was say 'ok'. fighter have to comprimise all the time to get those big fight they want.... if they really want it
