i just hope they take either Al Thornton or Nick Young....and maybe Daequan Cook......if they get one of those with that #12, i'll be happy, and i think it'll be a great fit...i think a scorer is the only thing that the Hornets lack....they have a shooter in Peja, a ballhandler/distributor in CP3....got decent post men, and a defensive force in the middle in Chandler....

...all they lack is a player who u can give the ball to in a situation and say "get us a basket"....and i think Thornton or Young fits that description....Cook WILL be a good scorer, but i don't think he will be at the start of his career, but he is a tremendous athlete....

...also...don't sleep on a guy like Morris Almond outta Rice...i think he's one of the most NBA-Ready guys in the entire draft......

WITH THE ADDITIONS OF MIKE JAMES AND BONZI WELLS, THE HORNETS GONNA DO THE DAMN THING... WE ONLY LOST BOBBY JACKSON AND A COUPLE OF D-LEAGUE PLAYERS LOL... this was a slick trade. GM Bower knows what he's doing. Bonzi is a tough player with a mean streak who can play defense, rebound, and score 10-14 pp. He gives us perimeter defense which we need to prevent teams from having 3 point field days with us. He adds to our depth which is great. Him and Paul on the court will be bada$$.
Mike James has a good 3 point shot and he can handle the ball well and run a decent offense. We got 2 veterans to add to our bench. We lost bjax but i really don't care because we got 2 for one in this deal. haluska and vinicious never played so this is gonna make us better if u look at it that way.

i'm excited. can't wait for the playoffs.

It will be soon time for the NBA to pick the MVP of the league. As we know the MVP is normally the most valueable player in the league. While most people think of Kobe, KG, Billups, Nash and Lebron, my MVP right now has to go to the Hornets Chris Paul. IF you don't think he is worthy or not even a candidate please check his stats.

Chris Paul is a point guard that not only reminds the old generation of Isiah Thomas, and resembles a scoring tenacity to score but this kid can pass at the drop of dime. For the season Chris Paul averages 21 points and get this folks, 11 assists. Not to mention he plays defense. If he is not picking his opponents pockets he is playing the passing lane. Few in today's NBA have that talent. Gary Payton was good at scoring and playing the passing lane which is how GP got the label as the Glove. If Gary Payton was the Glove what name should we call Chris Paul? The Mitten? lol He is the only other player that plays the lane as well as Allen Iverson and Butler. With almost 4 steals a game it is time for people to notice the hands or should I say eagle claws of Paul.

Now to the offensive part of the Paul's game. Chris Paul, in this day and age where players run down the court to get their own shot, has learned the art of being a true point guard. His passing to the open man and giving up the ball has influenced others on his team to share the wealth. If players have a guy like Chris Paul on their team who gives them the ball on the fast break this will lead to each player working extra hard. The main reason is, no one wants to run up and down the court to never receive the ball. His court vision at times is unbelievable. From bounce passes between two defenders, to spin moves, to pass to the cutter. Or if that doesn't work Chris can throw an alley oop from beyond half court

There's a huge difference between winning a ring as a player and as a coach though.
sh*t, Byron wasn't even a huge piece of the Lakers team when they won those titles. He was a good role player.

Farmar started last year and he's a poised player who won't get rattled.
Gasol has little experience but he's always put up big numbers, just hasn't been able to win.
Lamar has performed well in the playoffs and has some experience. He always takes advantage of his matchups (owned Marion the last 2 years).
Radman has played a bit and so has luke.
Bynum is the only starter who hasn't had any decent playoff experience.

The last 2 years the Lakers were inexperienced and had no depth or chemistry together. Even making it to the playoffs was a stroke of luck because the team had no business being there.

They play great Defense. The teams they beat werent ready for them. Houston coulda won but they ended up choking with Tmac. Golden State plays no defense and they def arent very experienced overall. Deron Williams stepped up tremendously in that Houston Series and proved to be amajor threat. Jerry Sloan is also arguably the greatest coach never to win a ring he has a deep resume but no ring.
