Personally,
I have a huge problem with these european fighters. A lot of the top rated guys are p*ssies IMO.
Vitali - This guy was in such a hurry to fight Maskaev cuz he didn't want no parts of Sam Peter. Sam Peter used to look real rough around the edges... but then he came of age against Toney and now the division is scared.
Wlad - Never mentioned fighting Brewster once since his knockout loss... then, Brewster suffers a detached retina (which used to be considered career threating b4 medical advances)... and before Brewster can even get a tune-up fight, Wlad wants him. Brewster hasn't fought in over a year... see how these euros are?
Calzaghe - I think he's fought 2 fights that were outside of walking distance of his bedroom.
Hatton - Now, I'll give Ricky props because he left his home town. However, for a guy that was talkin' all that mess about how he would fight anyone.... mentioning the names of Mayweather Jr and Cotto, he seems pretty adamant about not giving Witter a shot. Can't forget how fast he ran back down to 140 when he met competiton that he couldn't bully or get home town help with.
Dariusz Michalczewski - Remember this bum-ass? Another guy who wouldn't leave his hometown... thinking that RJJ should go to Germany. Then he goes and loses to a guy that RJJ pummelled mercilessly.
Arthur Abraham- Has never left Germany in 22 fights. Somehow, he managed to win a fight where his jaw was broken AND he wanted to quit. His opponent (Miranda), managed to get docked 5, lemme spell that, FIVE POINTS in the fight... but even if he wasn't docked any points.... Abraham would have won the fight by way of unanimous decision. (meaning, he would have won outright on 2 cards and had a draw on the third after being beaten like a pinata :smh: ).
These guys are good for nothing, honestly.
