In an interview with MTV News, Usher spoke out about the younger swagger jackers getting in his way.

"I feel like these kids have gotten a little too disrespectful, and I'm about to get [back in there], so just be ready," he said with a smile.

"Well, for instance," he explained, "you got your artists who find their way through the circuit and are following and are not giving the respect where the respect is due. If you know [you're] following and biting, then, hey, give the respect. But if you're not, and you're creating your own thing, then you're good. You should just continue to find your own way.

"Listen, this is not a game out here, man," he continued. "You can't come around here and think that you're really starting the game. Understand, when I came up in the game and I found a trail, I was cool. Bobby Brown went this way, Michael Jackson went this way, Marvin Gaye, he created his little profile and he held to it. I didn't step on those toes. What I did was find a way and my thing and created my thing. Now you have my thing being built. So I look up, and I'm like, 'OK, I see you all. I see you all in the videos. I see you moving, I get it, but pay the respect, man.' "

If U ask me, I think Usher just dented his career with that....not ruined but dented....Thing is I think he's a little insecure about succeeding Confessions...thats the prob when ur style is derived from something else ..theres too much Michael Jackson in his sh*t..Chris Brown, Neyo, Omarion all on the same page....so ppl can easily substitute him for one of them dudes......

but KELLLLLLLZ is irreplaceable.

What the hell, Usher needs to stop gettin uptight....this is just like when that lil rapper guy named nas came back in the game talking about hip hop is dead jus cuz the other areas on the map are taking over. Usher should be secure within himself and in what he's done to know that he will always be a big part of the R&B game, but other folks is poppin too, I mean I cant turn my Neyo cd off. He should just focus on trying to top confessions...sh*t if he can.

I agree with youngdigital Kellz is irreplaceable.^^^^^^^^^^^^^6

y'all can't hate on usher man, he been going hard for 10 years plus. i really dont like these other dudes (especially ne-yo). Mario's cool in my book tho. Omarion isn't even hot at all, his beats suck, really they do. What happened to that cool sh*t like "it never rains in souther california". Oh no we got some stupid ass sh*t by ma'fu*kers like T-Pain talkin bout "I got money in the bank" & sh*t. Boo!

Well everyone knows Music is so played out now days such as R&B and Hip-Hop
everything sounds the same. But you got Artist like Ne-Yo who bit the hell out of Usher's style like he was a Junior Whopper that's why I don't like Ne-Yo he took ushers style in A LOT of ways.
