BeatCatererz: I liked the horns, I didn't like the drum pattern much and the snare, I also expected some bass to kick in at some point, it didn't, it's a straight beat though.

jjbing: lol @ that sample it's a straight choice though, your drums do sound mad weak, the sample sounds muffled, if the mix was better I think this could actually be a nice beat.

neither one of these beats seamed all that complete.
jj, your mix was terrible, sounded like you had a HPF on the whole thing, sounded like there were frequency gaps. ive heard the sample before, and allyou did was loop it.
beatcaters, your sample was fire, but you booted it with some weak drums, off beat ones at that, cats insist on sampling, but cant get there chops on beat.
your mix however was alotbetter than jj's. seems like had more change ups as well.

jjbing- real mellow vibe.... drums r so so need a mix to make the hi's crisp and the lows thump

beatcaterz-sample is funky ...drum break is awful........ track is a funky junt ....808 under the slappy kik is a nice touch mix is good

Beatcaterz: damn dude thats a sick sample! Fat drumkit . The rools were fine (sometimes alil bit hectic). Good breakdown. Chops are nice.

jjbing4: also very nice sample. Some soul sh*t. Makes me lay down. Drums are fine really bangin. chops are good. You need to compress the drums with other settings. I think change ratio or release time.

beatcatererz - the beat is cold as hell. i'm not a fan of blatant sampling but i can't use that against u cause it's still a hot beat. u got good hittin drums not as warm as i like but they good. good choice of sample too

jjbing-beat was good but the drums suck sh*t. that kick killed u. if it wasn't for that i would have voted for u. the sample sucked too. don't get me wrong i love the original song but that loop is too obvious. i could make that beat in like 2 minutes if i wanted too. u should have took other parts and got more creative with the chops.

both beats are good though but beatcatererz got my vote on this

jjbing- this is sumthin to smoke to. nice, laid back, sample. but the drums are not too good. i hate the kick and the snare. plus, you shoulda mixed this better too. sry, dude....
