i had to listen to these a bunch of times to get a feel.

afekz-good chops as usual. it seems kinda different than your usual mixes. you dont have your patented basslines.snare on point as usual. drums arent doing it for me along with the vocal sample. shes annoying.

water-chops are good despite what afekz says. your vocal choice was better to me. intro was hot. dont like that hi-hats. snare seems like it need a little more umphh(if thats a word) but its good. that kick is on point.

afecks your mix was alittle cleaner, but didnt have any hype to it. but like you all said before the voting, its a "who chops the best" battle, so ima have to go with waters, his sh*t was at least like 10 or 11 different chops, afecks you relied more on the power of your sample as aposed to what you actually did with it.
waters' drums could have hit harder, but i think for talking such a big game you could have come alittle harder afecks.

You can have 30 chops in the same song...It won't matter if they dont flow and/or make a melody.

Anybody can just chop the sh*t out of a sample and throw drums on it.



When you chop, and people hear your beat, and they cant even tell you chopped much...Thats when your chop game is on point.

I find it horrible when beatmakers want to chop, and you can hear the sample clip, you can here EXACTLY where the sample chops, and it has that "chop...ch-ch-chop" sound to it...It is quite possibly the worst thing you will ever hear.


Makin chops without sounding choppy = Mastering of the chop game.
