damn nice ass bass line in this allstar..i liked the change ups in vagnums beat but to me it sounded like he just chopped and added drums..allstar did a bass line n sh*t and allot of drum change ups..so i think he gets this one

AllStar - Sounded way tooooo generic, sounded just like every other sampled beat ever made.

Dont get me wrong, it was a nice beat, drum work was nice, bassline was alright, it's just, "Heatmakers" <the ones who produce for Dipset, not the one on this board> sample style, is just played out to me. No originality and much creativity and thought is needed to make those type of beats. Easy Money.


Vagnum - sh*t was DEFINITELY hot. Very original and creative. That drum break was killin it. A whole mess of change ups, NEVER gets boring, i could play this beat for days.

Allstar - tight beat but lacked originality when compared to Vagnum's..and yeah it did sound like something the Heatmakerz would make.

Vagnum - dang, this is mad hot...much creativity put into this and a whole lot of instruments and sounds coming from everywhere + many change-ups..you did a good job on this

the battle is over but i still want to offer my constructive feedback.

allstar- i know you could have done better. your beat was pretty basic/rushed despite the bassline everyone keeps bragging about. the melody was decent. drums didnt stand out.

vagnum-you know the intro was tight. despite if it was a break or not its still good. its well rounded which makes it more complete. i hear that bassline back there under the jungle rumble. them chopped up horns is on point. and them string magnificent. its old skool. people say they cant hear anyone rappin on it, im think big daddy kane,marly marl, and all them 80's dudes. they could rip it.(ex:The say he's hot/ like a new frigadare/im in the hood all the time/ and you aint neva there/flossin, like i work for a dentist/hardcore menace/verbal assasign(however you spellit)with the pen is/ what i am/gives a damn, bout the next man/im the best man/so rumble young man rumble---bingo)
