A piece of paper in ya hand can determine ya future man//
got people joining the army just to get a helping hand//
sense of security on ya life cause you think they got cha back//
George Bush Jr dont care about a man who skin is black//
babies to feed, bill collectors calling every hour//
who's threating to call da people and to turn off all ya power//
leave you in the dark got ya baby screaming and crying//
she dont know no better so she probably think she is dying//
in the back room calling daddy for help//
clutching my stomach cause I feel the pain my babygurl felt//
no where to turn cause when I do Im running into things//
what did I do? Im staying legal earning everything//
no support from da people man they feeding overseas//
and this dead end job got me slaving on my knees//
all alone left for broke still trying to find a way//
baby momma ran out with a dude who chain was gray//
left me and little Des just to drive a CLK//
but glad you left cause I don't want you to influence my daughter//
teach her to open her legs for a dude to support her//
how you gon leave yo flesh and blood, wasn't it thicker than water//
like water for chocolate? nah you in clubs tryin to drop it//
if you verifying what Kanye said I think you should stop it//
cause you far from a Golddigger but close to the end//
if somebody told you before then I'll tell you again//
not the deadbeat dad this time but its the wo-man//
now who gon love you like ya daughter love you, not one man//
but you don't see the bigger picture all you see is money//
and you wonda why ya family be looking at you funny//
but, to me you're history you in my rhyme book//
put you down in this verse and I didn't use a hook//
got the whole story written on the famous Boxden//
now I made you famous but you feeling boxed in//
couldnt hold my feelings shouldve known I would do it//
and if Victoria's a secret then I think I blew it

Oh yeah it is a rhyme, but the thread said Poetry and Rhymes so I just post it here too. Preciate it though.

Rap IS poetry. the watered down version spit to music, that is. the piece was definitely structured like rap lyrics but the content was reminiscent of pure poetry. I'm lovin the political "this place is phukked up, fix it " type of message.
