i just got back home. newayz. i apologize. i hardly had any time to mix this properly. so, dont expect perfection in the mix. but its still clean enough... either way, i need to lock myself with a book on how to mix, cuz i fu*kin SUCK at mixing....

vote is for heat..... overall quality and the beat is catchy as hell the sample is tyt too
all about's bass line sounded tyt but the beat itself wasnt and i really didnt like the feel of the drums (its just an opinion tho)

btw, what was wrong with my beat again. can yall just give sum constructive feedback real quick...

honestly, the only thing i thought that was wrong with it.. was one of your drums carried a strange noise with it, and the bass patch you used sounded cheap, and so did one or two of your percs.

just the drums... they really sounded old schoolish and i didnt like that snare or the drum sequencing..... im a drum fanatic so thats always a deal breaker with me..... the melody was tyt and the bass was real nice ... just the drums

^^ yeah like i was saying, after the beat drops, and the bass comes in.. it sounds like somethin salt-n-pepa would just start rappin over.. thought it was gonna be hot, or expected more outta it, then the sh*t just changed the mood completely..

Drums hit, but in a crap pattern.
your chops are sketchy, can hear pops where the chop is off at some parts.
sounds cluttered
and your bass is so terribly out of key that i couldnt even make it thru the song.


i agree with the it being weird.. but as for saying yours is better? :smh: and there is also nothing ironic about us using the same sample, thats not irony, thats a coincidence. thanks.
