I got just about everything you mentioned, on record and such.. lots of 12"s and that.

I just tried to give you props in thsi forum, but it didn't do sh!t to your amount...lol. I think the strength of the props given varies on different parts of the forum.

I had a friend who use to always play me his old school uk collection, especially MC Duke (i remember a track called Riffin (?) which he always use to bump), Gunshot and Hijack. I remember him giving me the Horns of Jericho lp and having to borrow my dads very old LP player to hear it. Loved it though

Got a few albums...

I love London Posse... Gangster Chronicle is classic imo but I haven't really heard much else... Main thing that bugs me is the Yankee accents used by some (Hijack etc) - I tihnk you kind of had to be there to understand that... I wasn't - too young :(

Yeah, i'm in my mid-20's, so i grew up and around that, hearing all that stuff from my older brother (I was just a shorty really). Not all of them have the American accents, such as Demon Boys, MC Mello, Hardnoise, Ruthless Rap Asassins, rapped in a distinctly British accent... but i feel what you're saying. I was put off when Caveman done it (although MCM IS dope as hell!), but never Hijack (don't know why... Kamanchi Sly pulls it off!). I loved the debut album... and looked passed the whole accent ting, because they were talking about

"Stuck in Brixton/sitting thinking/writting rhymes, but who can hear them..."

I grew up in Lambeth sides, so i guess i was relating to what they were rapping about. Plus, i know heads that STILL rap in that accent. I could go on about it forever, but yeah, i feel that.

I'll try and upload all of the UK ol skool i got ripped... most of it (unfortunately) is on vinyl.
