Just wondering what you think of the GREAT 35 minute 'The Beats' Record Label (Owned by Mike Skinner, artists like The Mitchell Brothers) Mixtape.
Personally I think it was worth the £3.25 alone with great remixes and about 4 or 5 tracks from the new Mitchell Bros album.
Just givin my UK bredrin a heads up to go out and get it!!

Yup.. I picked it up when it came out a about a fortnight ago :P
I psoted the CD a while back too - it's in the download section if anyone wants it.
HHC is decent. Don't like some of the people that work for it and their reviews are bullsh*t. Plus they seem to just be sleeping on a LOT of UK hip hop atm but its whatever... I'm still coppin it

I think its better than the Source.
I wouldnt of said that two months ago but since Kim Osario left as editor its gone down the drain..
And the reason I havent copped it till now is they only stock it in ONE store, the HMV in Speke which is a good drive from Widnes where I live so I only get it when im up there.
The Def Jux cd 2 months ago was illllllll aswell.
EDIT : Hey buddy, since we both UKer's hows about u gimme some props. I've been workin like a mufu*ka to try and get some. lol.

LMAO!!!
You know how many people i know that's had problems with HHC over the years?!? lol... They always been doing stuff like that. I been reading (or should i say skimming!) that mag since 1995, and really not much has changed.
The album reviews are still subjective, biased and point-blank B.S! One thing i never used to like is the way the would mock teh whole tough-guy image portrayed by rappers back in teh day and talk about them getting mushie peas and sh!t in a chippie in Exeter...lol... sh!t like that , nahmean?
After all of that, i still buy it ocassionally  but really it's for the interviews and such... it was decent last year when they had Chuck D, J-Zone & Greenpeace writting for them (I think they stll got Dan, not sure)... anyway, mag is ok in parts, but a shambles in others...

haha.. yeah, Undercover is a lot better... I been reading that since issue #1... they seem more "true" to the culture if you ask me. Plus it's not all just Hip Hop... but a lot of other music genres... plus who else would be that brave to put Quasimoto on your front cover?!? lol.
Plus, you can't beat a good C.D wit a few exclusives!
