idk wat to say about this book but the author Zora Neale Hurston is incredible!!! Shes the same person that maya angelou got her ways of writing from. :applause:

yall should really check out this book. Oprah has also created a movie from the book exactly as the author wrote it. its just amazing. havent seen the movie yet but i heard it was on abc and people said that "Their Eyes Were Watching God" was the most viewed television movie ever.

anybody read the novel?

Yeah... I read it i think in high school, but I've forgotten what it was really about... but I remember it was an excellent book. I have to go get it now...

good book, i had to read it and do a research paper on it.. wasnt really into reading a book about women but once i read it, it turned out nice. good read
