My Stuff (first time to try)

Not Real( to my step dad)
Your not my real dad but you treat me as if i you are
you tell me things my dad wouldn't understand
like how to be a real man.
My real dad did what he wants.
you do what you can.
In everything you do i feel like your my number one fan.
You even respect my sister.
And by all means
I respect that you treat my mom like Queen.
I thought a family like this was only a dream.

Thanks for the support
Life’s a tough sport—sometimes it’s cut short
I’ve been pushed and shoved
towards the point to where I punch doors
The stress for me came mentally
so I prayed on my bended knees
That God would send us peace
when He breathes through the gentle breeze
I even wept for weeks
confessed to priests when tensions peaked
Death, to me
became a tendency that I suppressed to see
I don’t neglect to see
the recipe of dad and mom’s lives
Modified to serve as proper guides
under God’s eyes
Though you qualified
you’ve always felt that you were small sized
I apologize
for all the times I failed to swallow pride
The devil’s false advice
made me fall to vice and follow lies
You made me follow Christ
help me walk in Light
despite my awkward sight
Provided me and guided me
with knowledge taught in Life
Although we fought and griped
time eventually has stopped the fights
Now I’m off to hike the walk of Life
and reach colossal heights

Remembrance

standing over his
underground memorium
remembering................
and reminiscing on
all the wrong he did
yet still
being grateful that he did it

he may not have fallen
under the ranks of
a great father
but he was good at the bad things
that he so loved
which is how i learned
that i had to be me
by not following in his footsteps

pop you taught me so much
through your illicit deeds
that it made me always wanna do right

you taught me how to
respect women
by
showing me
how to disrespect them

you taught me how to
stay away from those substances
by abusing them yourself

you taught me how to be
the better part of your existence

and i appreciate the lessons that i've learned
for all that you put me through
and all the you endured
and for that
i'm proud
to have had 23 years to know you
